Exciting thing is that I'll be out camping with the scoutsduring that front blowing through.
We had a rather impressive light show, but thankfully the cells didn't really ramp up until they were past our location.Knowing that kind of weather is coming means they will "Be Prepared" for it and sleep through it.![]()
Do I see a pool coming in the future? We will connect it to the existing drive after another project that will have big trucks in and out so we don't beat up something brand new concrete.
Jim,
It will be heated to a low temp (mid 50s) through the winter. On cold snaps might need to put a heater in the bathroom and run the RV furnace, but no winterizing planned ever again.
I hope that becomes sooner than that we don't have to winterize because we're chasing 70 degrees for the winter instead of it just sitting in the shed. Now the truth can be told ......
Pools are a pain, but a lot of fun and relaxation when it's warm. I just ordered a new pump for ours. The motor is good, but the inlet threads are stripped and it can't be repaired. I could just replace the pump housing, but I'm upgrading to a variable speed pump from a single speed. I'm hoping this saves some on the power bill.Jim,
NO pool. I have enough things to maintain. We're planning to do some house renovations shortly and we'll have lumber trucks and lifts ripping around.
VS pumps are the way to go. Mine can be set to 4 different programs, overnight I set it to 30%, really cuts the power bill!Pools are a pain, but a lot of fun and relaxation when it's warm.
