I'm sorry you don't love North Carolina. I'm prior military and lived in Goldsboro, NC for 7 years. We loved living in NC and would go back in a heartbeat, I love the beach, the mountains and that it's an easy drive to Disney!

so, anybody start packing yet:lmao:? accidently clicked on one of the june meet threads the last week of the month & saw many are starting to get their docs, we're up on deck:woohoo:[/QUOTE]

:cool1: Can't wait to see those docs! Haven't started packing yet, but starting to think about it!

Um pass. It snowed here this winter anyway!! Yeah although I don't miss the cold, I miss everything else.

I think it's where I'm living. We're in Jacksonville, and although it's close to the beach, I just don't like the atmosphere. If we lived closer to Wilmington, I think I'd be ok!

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Jacksonville, but love love love the Wilmington area. Wrightsville Beach was my absolute favorite!

just noticed you're north of Pittsburgh, i'm northeast:goodvibes

Haven't started packing yet, although I do think about what I will bring/wear.

I am not a last minute packer and do hope to have most of it done by the first week in July and no later than the second week. My ds has a baseball tournament the full 4th of July weekend so we will be gone for that and I guess I'll come home and finnish up.

Are you guys in PA getting ALL this rain!!! :confused3 When was the last day it was nice out? I don't remember????:confused3
My dd is going to her boyfriends senior prom tomorrow and it is calling for rain, won't be good for the dress or hair :sad2: and we have our college commencement on Friday, which still isn't holding out too much hope for a forecast other than rain :headache:

Has anyone done the catamran & snorkel excursion on CC?

Beauty Fan - where in GA?

SO EXCITED & can NOT wait!!:yay:

5days - Would love to start a thread for the teens/tweens. I do not know how to start that as well. Can someone help us?

mmtska - I am sorry that you do not like NC. I hope that one day you will be able to move closer to Wilmington. I live in Greensboro which is in the middle of the state. This is nice as I am 3 1/2 hours to the beach and 3 hours to the mountains. Best of both worlds!! We use to live outside of Chicago and I would NOT go back up North for anything!! I love having four seasons and being close to both the beach and mtns. :)

I love that area! We went to Wrightsville a couple of weeks ago and it was great!

The funny thing is I ALWAYS wanted to live in NC, but now I know I have to be a little pickier hahaha. I hope we get to move closer to Wilmington, but I'm still hoping my DH gets selected for the Orlando PD. I have some friends who work for Disney or Universal, so at least I'd know some people down there too :)

Cheryl,
DD(4) wanted to pack last night instead of going to bed. ::MinnieMo Quite a scene as I explained that since she had school on Thurs it was more important to go to bed, and she could start packing when she got home from school.:teacher: I had to work late today so DH came home early with her. By the time I got home, her dresser was empty and her suitcase was overflowing! :rotfl:

WELCOME, TARGIRL! :welcome:
We're north of Atlanta, near Alpharetta. Just a little over 8 hours from WDW!

I'm with your DD (4)! I really want to start packing but I'm trying to resist the urge until the week of July 4th. DD's Grandma will be here and we are going "cruise shopping" for EVERYTHING! I can't wait! :woohoo:

I'm soo ready to go!!! But I'm not an early packer at all. If I pack too early I'm always afraid I forgot something and have to dig in the suitcase to make sure. So best guess is that I will probably pack Friday night after work, or Saturday morning before our flight! :thumbsup2

I'm with you on that one. I'm usually not an early packer either but I will be packing DDs suitcases weeks in advance because "Grandma wants to buy all of the cruise outfits for her grandbabies when she visits in early July"! Have at it! :woohoo: Me and DH have to do our own shopping so I'm sure that the two of us will be packing the night before we leave as well. I just wish that night would hurry up and get here. It's taking forever! :bored:

We aren't early packers either. We'll probably pack the day before we leave. We pretty much have down to a science what we take on cruises. We just ended up adding 3 more days to the start of our trip. We booked the resort through DVC and no fee to change our flights so it's just a few days extra on the car rental plus food. My parents are going to be in Clearwater the same time with my aunt and uncle who will be visiting from Australia. They are going to Disney for 2 days on the 18/19 and we decided to go a few days earlier than planned so we can meet up and surprise my aunt/uncle. My parents know we'll be there. I also booked an illuminations cruise for the night of the 18th and very excited about that.

We are in PA and this is our first day in a week without rain. Between my 2 boys, they have 7 baseball make ups from missed games. My ds14 has 37 games from last Saturday until July 7 and then play offs. My ds10 still has a good 10 games of his regular season, play offs and then traveling all stars. They play districts the first week of July, have a Ripken touranment in Aberdeen and then States (if they make it, which they should) starting on July 15. We'll most likely go from a hotel at the state tournament to the hotel we are staying at near BWI before flying out early the 18th.

My boys have just over 2 weeks of school left and their end of the year is busy, busy, busy. DS10 and I go to WDW in 2.5 week for Star Wars weekends and we can't wait!!

I forgot to add we finally participated in our neighborhood yard sale last week and gutted our house out of baby, toddler and young chilren's toys and clothes adn got enough for a down payment on another cruise! We were thrilled to get rid of stuff and happy to be able to book another cruise with the proceeds!

So I know I asked this before, but only 1 person really answered.....is anyone interested in a FE exchange? I just helped a friend with hers, and I got excited about it again. :)

We've never done one, but it sounds like fun. We'd be interested if you have enough.

You won't have a chane to breathe...let alone be bored and twiddle your thumbs until cruise time! How awesome to have such a successful yard sale! We have never done one because we always give it away to Goodwill or the Salvation Army but every time I see the show "Clean House" I feel like I should try one!

Hello! I'm not an FE person, so I will sit this out, but I know folks have sooo much fun with it - I hope you get some takers!:thumbsup2
