7/24/2011 5 Night Disney Dream cruise

So I know I asked this before, but only 1 person really answered.....is anyone interested in a FE exchange? I just helped a friend with hers, and I got excited about it again.

Still trying to decide on this one. Never done it before as this is our first cruise. I'm thinking about doing it, but don't know what all is involved and how much extra I would have to "lug" around in my bags.

It's my birthday this week but will be celebrating at baseball tournaments all weekend and going to to dinner with my mother on Sunday.

Can't wait until we can say we are "leaving next month!".

Finally not raining here today although very cloudy. I'll take it though since we've had almost 2 full straight weeks of rain

We have done FE on all of our previous cruises and the kids love it. I would be willing to do it on this cruise if there are enough people interested (but not too many - our last cruise had 30 cabins - I had to have one suitcase filled with my FE gifts only - and my husband said never again).

I'm with you on that one. I'm usually not an early packer either but I will be packing DDs suitcases weeks in advance because "Grandma wants to buy all of the cruise outfits for her grandbabies when she visits in early July"! Have at it! Me and DH have to do our own shopping so I'm sure that the two of us will be packing the night before we leave as well. I just wish that night would hurry up and get here. It's taking forever!

Yes, Nanny is coming to visit this weekend and has already mentioned going to the outlets to get DD her cruise clothes. Just printed a coupon from Childrens Place Outlet for Mem Day Weekend.

As for me, I am still optimistic I will lose a few more pounds before the cruise so refuse to shop for my current size!

You are not by yourself on the weight thing. I am trying really hard to lose more weight so that I can wear a swimsuit without scaring everyone on the boat! Time is a tickin' so I'd better pick up the pace a bit. Gotta lose it so I can EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!

Hi all! It's been a while as things are really hectic here with the winding down of the school year. But I know the cruise is getting closer, as I got a call from Southwest yesterday letting me know that our flight time was changed on our return flight.

Our family has never done the FE exchange, so I think we'll pass.

Is anyone staying by the port the night before the cruise? I'm excited that we'll get to see the Magic take off, and then we get to sail on her in November.

The magic is supposed to sail away at 4:30 on Saturday. We've always been on the Magic before, and no ships left on Friday, so this will be our first time to see another DCL ship take off without us. Fortunately, it will be us less than 24 hours later.

Oh wow! I didn't realize that! We don't land until around 2:30 so it might be tight. We ate flying into Melbourne so I'm going to keep hope alive that we can see it. I think DDs would get a kick out of it.

im going to be busy bee w/DS's 18th BD today, graduation next week, overnight college orientation and our trip to Myrtle Beach in one month. can we get a count as to total adults & children (age & sex?) & we'll need cabin numbers . Too funny that I did buy a bunch of clothes from Chilren's Place at the end of last summer for DD, but I thought she would be one more size up by July so am hoping they will fit her by then.

Glad you decided to do the FE! This will be my first time, but there are so many great ideas on the FE threads that you can be as simple or elaborate as you want. I had an idea a few months ago which I haven't seen posted yet, so I am excited to try it out.

You have to be so excited to surprise your girls. They will have a blast!

Keishashadow...can't remember if you are a Baseballer too...are you going to Myrtle Beach for a baseball tournament? Our cruise starts smack dab in the middle of son's Myrtle Beach tournie...we haven't decided if he'll go for the first few days or skip it all together. Hmmm...
