Just a heads up if it's like the gift certificate I had. I had a $10 gift certificate. I thought it was $10 cash, so when I had a code to get say a $25 restaurant certificate for $2, I could use $2 of mine and have $8 left (linda like a gift card). Nope, I could only use it to get a $10 restaurant certificate.

That's not really a great deal compared to the current promo.:

That $500 buys 20 $25 gift certificates. Right now, you can get a $25 GC for $1 by using the promo code (JOY). Sooo... you can get $500 worth of GCs (if you choose to actually purchase THAT much) for $20... as opposed to spending $30 for the bigger offer (that gets you the same amount of GCs).

I'm not sure when the promo ends, though...

It would be a good deal if the restaurant you wanted to get was one that sells out quickly. Usually the 80% off deals are toward the end of the month and the restaurants I want to use it on are always sold out early in the month.

Otherwise you might as well wait for the 80% off coupons, they happen all the time.
