$50 Disney GC on sale at my Target

My mom lives outside of Houston and theirs are $44 but she doesn't have a RedCard. I think without that additional 5%, then it's about the same deal to get the fuel rewards from the grocery store plus Chase Freedom is giving 5% cash back on grocery store purchases. I couldn't find anywhere where it said gift cards were excluded. So, I guess I am just gonna go to King Soopers and buy some before the fuel rewards are over and the 5% through Chase ends.

Oh my goodness! So this would be $400 off a $5000 balance? Are you sure they'll take 100 gift cards??? (*IF* I could find that many?)

I just checked my ad (Florida) and they're being advertised for $50.

Worked like a charm in OR. about 30 min ago. Couldn't find them at 1st, and some guy said they didn't carry $50 cards but to try Safeway. Told him I wanted to buy them here since they were on sale. He called another employee on the radio and she said that yes they had them, Bought four and got them for $46x4-5%. Going to save some pretty good money on our trip this year. Thanks for posting this!

I called the Wal-Mart nearest my house, talked to the store manager, and he said if you had the ad they WOULD price match it! Can anyone tell me how I can print the ad that shows $44 online? Thanks!

Walgreens, Target, Kroger...Disney Gift Cards available at all of those places here on East side of Houston.
I pay pay a HUGE part of our Didney vacations using Disney GCs. Many, many, many gift cards!
The CMs will take them over the phone, and never complain, but I usually do the majority of them via the website. I used this the past 3 vacation packages with no problems.
As for park tickets, if you have a lower priced ticket...(i.e.a valid 2-day base ticket), you can go to Guest Services, (I went to MK's City Hall), and upgrade using multiple payment methods, including Disney Gift Cards!

Okay, stuuuupid question Do you pay tax on gift cards? I feel so silly asking this! If we pay $46 for a gc + 8.25% tax, that will equal $49.80. Say it ain't so! I'm thinking you don't pay taxes until you buy "merchandise", then the tax is taken off of the card for the stuff you buy.

Our WalMarts do not sell Disney gift cards.

Go to Target.com find a store Houston, TX click on one, then click on view store add. I found it on page 17, then print it out.

I don't think my WalMart carries them.

a little off topic but what is teh 5% pharmacy rewards? is it a 1 time coupon?

Target pharmacy has a program that if you purchase 10 prescriptions using your Target Red card (Credit or Debit) they will send you a coupon for an additional 5% off for one day. The discount applies to anything (except prescriptions) that is purchased on that day, but you must use your Red card to make the purchase. I do all of my grocery shopping at SuperTarget so it is nice to get the 5% on top of the 5% discount that I get for using my Target debit card.

No - no tax until you use the gift card to buy stuff. That stuff (merchandise, food, hotel room) will then be taxed.

SE Michgian they were $50.00. The CS person told me some were on sale last week. Hope I didn't miss it.

I know I bought virgin mobile cards on sale last week, I didn't know they were on sale until I got to the register. There were other phone cards by the register that were on sale, but I didn't think to look at the Disney Cards in the back of the store. Hope we didn't miss it.
