$50 Disney GC on sale at my Target

Thanks for the info! I will have to jump over to my local target (NJ) and see if they have them.

Please let me know if you find any discounted in NJ! I have checked our online ad and it seems to be still $50.

They are $44 here. After the 5% redcard that makes it $41.80 for a 16.4% discount.

Am I likely to see anything cheaper than this before Thanksgiving or should I just pull the trigger on paying off our hotel/food?

Where is here? I would buy now. As far as I know this does not happen much.

I agree that you should buy them at this price. If I could get that price, I'd be buying them up. I don't think you will see them lower.

Are you in the Houston area? THat is the only place I've seen so far that has them that low. I'm SOOOO jealous

Went to my local Target today. The $50 Disney GC's were on "sale" for $50. What???:confused3

SE Michgian they were $50.00. The CS person told me some were on sale last week. Hope I didn't miss it.

a little off topic but what is teh 5% pharmacy rewards? is it a 1 time coupon?

The Charlotte, NC area stores are still $50 as well as the Bay Area, CA. I was so ready to rum out and buy some too! Darn!

It was advertised in this week's ad. Some Targets actually have them for $44 and then you can use a Target RedCard for an additional 5% off! Of course, here in the Denver area, the Disney cards are still $50.

OK so I'm in Colorado too which is a bummer our stores don't have them. I did have a thought though. Target does price matching. I know they don't match online prices, but if you had a target ad from another city..why wouldn't they match it?? :confused3

Can you pay for your trip with Disney Gift Cards? Like just call and give them the numbers over the phone?

Yes you can but not park tickets. They only allow 2 forms of payment for all park tickets either online, on phone or in person. Just FYI :goodvibes

I wonder about that!! I will be in there on Thursday so I will ask. Let me know if you check with them before then.

I thought it was a pretty intersting thought as well...hmmmm. I probably won't be in there before you, but might make a call here in a bit and see what their initial reaction is.

I live near Lone Tree and I find that Supertarget to be more accommodating that others..so I'll call there. Just maybe they will match their own prices :confused3 Sounds silly to think they would match any other advertised price but not their own..at least that's my thought

Exactly! If they will match others, why not their own. Good thought! I typically go to the HR SuperTarget or the one in Littleton by SW Plaza, but if Lone Tree will match, I'll drive :thumbsup2

Bad news I'm afraid. I called and talked to the store and they said they only match local ads. I looked at the policy online as well and it seems as if we're out of luck (it's pasted below). Oh well..was a nice thought while it lasted :lmao:

If you find an item in a competitor's printed ad that is priced lower than it is at your Target store, we will match the price. The competitor's ad must be local and current, and the product must be the identical item, brand name, quantity and model number. Target.com is excluded from our price matching policy. Competitor catalogs can also be ad matched as long as the catalog displays a valid date and meets all other qualifications.

However...Wal-mart also does price matching, so I'm going to give them a call and clarify their policy. Not expecting a positive answer, but it can't hurt to ask :)
