$5 credit?

We just got back from a chilly trip to WDW where we learned all about DVC and BCV. The salesperson made it sound as if you had to be there in person, signing the contract, in order to get the $5 per point credit. Is this so? Although it was very tempting, we decided to wait until we got out of "vacation mode" before making a decision. Now, of course, we're almost 100% decided, but would still like that $5 per point credit. Thanks for any replies.

They usually allow 30 days after you see the presentation to get the better finance rate if you finance through Disney. I don't beleive that applies for the $5 off incentive, I think you can get that anytime as long as the incentive is still going on, which as of Friday it still was but can be eliminated at anytime.
