wow...I've never heard of a 5th grade graduation. I'm thinking we'd be missing that party.........

We got the invitation today.
We told her it was the Batmitzvah and we would have to miss it and she was upset and in tears, the batti is the week before but we may still try leave a little earlier than the party finishes
:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

So now I am MAD/ANGRY P/O'd etc
DD is graduating 5th grade and they are having graduation and the 5th grade party on Friday 26th May!!!!!!!!
There go our plans for leaving before noon!!!
Of course she doesn't know about the trip yet!!!

Ok, no way I'd stay in town for this. Plans have been made (and in my opinion UNCHANGABLE plans)....after all, you DO want to get in town as early as possible. The ship will not wait for you.

Do I. AC/DC arc, Mig, and Oxy/Acetylene. Kind of part of the deal growing up.

Comes in handy now, I just finished today at work custom making a hanging rail system in a van for the guy that delivers drapes. Made it out of Unistrut, 1" iron pipe, and lots of sticks. :)

Also made this last weekend with the home ac unit.

OH MY GOSH!!! I don't even change my own oil!! Put AIR in my tires?? Won't Toyota do that when they do my oil change??? I have AAA so that I NEVER even have to change a tire. And when AAA wouldn't come, we had Officer Schneider do it for us:

I accept your application and resume. When can you start? After the first of June??? Perfect!

My guess is after the 3rd of June....

We are dancing right along with you, Fran! We got our docs today, too! :cool1:  :woohoo: :yay: party:

We got ours today, but they are sitting on the counter waiting for Sharon to come home. I'm sorry to say, but the best way to make her night is to have cruise doc sitting on the counter at the end of a long day. :cool1:

We are booked at the Radisson that night so I guess we can leave 2 hours later than we planned and just get in late - the booking is paid for already!!
Our plan was to leave early to try miss the dreaded Atlanta traffic!!!

Well-- I have a very upset little girl here tonight. She did not make the squad, they only took 7 6th grader girls. The bad part is 5 of her friends made it. I have never seen her cry like this before. She is starting to get better, but I just feel so bad for her.

I think it is time you introduced Milano cookies to her...........

I suggest 4 bags of them, to be eaten alone, in her room....in one sitting.

Hope she feels better soon!!! :grouphug:

Thankfully I left Molly inside today or we would never be going on the cruise. :rotfl2:

So is this the thing now? :confused3 To have graduations at every level? I was shocked when I saw my first "kindergarten" graduation. Now they have (at least) after kdg, 5th, 8th, 12th.... Who knows what else. Not having kids in the school system I guess I'm out of the "graduation" loop.

I remember when I grew up, you had to go to school 13 long years before you even THOUGHT of graduating!!!

Hey, I'm not kidding! We could really use someone like Mark....smart, reliable, young......but not too young....doesn't drink, doesn't smoke.

We fired a guy last week. Out of the one week he was with us, he had 12 hours in. His car broke down on the way to work, his wife was sick, had to visit his parole officer...every excuse.

So we have another new guy. He worked Monday. Called yesterday at 10:00 a.m.....he'd gone to the doctor and has an infection. Haven't seen him since. And I'm not using the toilet at the shop til someone cleans it.
The stories I could tell you...........

It's fun owning your own business huh?? :rolleyes1

Funny you mention that. I meant to post that my mom did me a disservice growing up. You were hurt? Eat a cookie? Skinned your knee? How about a bowl of ice cream to make it feel better. I'm wearing all of my boo-boos on my hips now b/c of it.

She also gave me another bad habit. I remember having a really tough time in college---hard nursing classes, homesickness, relationship issues....so she told me...."go to the mall and find some things that will make you feel better." OOOOHhhhh....KAAAYYYYY.....

Guess what THAT led to!! :)

Kevin, your siggie cracks me up. Gotta get the good doctor on here to see himself!! :)

How is Kevin going to fit that in around diving? :confused3
May 25, Jupiter!! It's getting wet time!!!! There is still some openings on the boat!!! :wave2:

We also did 13 years before we graduated and then it was just spending the last day partying and writing on our uniforms with marker and that was it - done!!!!

This is all new for me too but I feel bad for her to miss it completly so will probably wait and extra hour or 2 and then leave :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Which is one of reasons I sold my business. Never to have to deal with another personnel issue.
