I love people that think if they minimize the project, it's GOTTA cost less.......

I should have told him that Jay's dyslexic, and it would take him HOURS to read the instructions. At $75.00 an hour, that would be.......:scratchin

Well-- I have a very upset little girl here tonight. She did not make the squad, they only took 7 6th grader girls. The bad part is 5 of her friends made it. I have never seen her cry like this before. She is starting to get better, but I just feel so bad for her.

So now I am MAD/ANGRY P/O'd etc
DD is graduating 5th grade and they are having graduation and the 5th grade party on Friday 26th May!!!!!!!!
There go our plans for leaving before noon!!!
Of course she doesn't know about the trip yet!!!

When can we leave?

Hey, I'm not kidding! We could really use someone like Mark....smart, reliable, young......but not too young....doesn't drink, doesn't smoke.

We fired a guy last week. Out of the one week he was with us, he had 12 hours in. His car broke down on the way to work, his wife was sick, had to visit his parole officer...every excuse.

So we have another new guy. He worked Monday. Called yesterday at 10:00 a.m.....he'd gone to the doctor and has an infection. Haven't seen him since. And I'm not using the toilet at the shop til someone cleans it.

Awwww....been there. Jordan didn't make it the first time she tried, either. There really isn't much you can say at all, either. Poor baby. I'm sad for her!
Will they have another set of try-outs at the first of the year? They do that here, to give new girls a chance to try. And...sometimes someone moves, or decides they don't want to do it... :confused3

You know how to weld??? You want a job?? We NEED a guy like you. And you're not an idiot.
Mary would love Arizona, and I could put you up until you found a place, and I wuould pay you lots of money....whew, had to take a breath.......

Do I. AC/DC arc, Mig, and Oxy/Acetylene. Kind of part of the deal growing up.

Comes in handy now, I just finished today at work custom making a hanging rail system in a van for the guy that delivers drapes. Made it out of Unistrut, 1" iron pipe, and lots of sticks. :)

Also made this last weekend with the home ac unit. It's the reason I will have to take the crossmember out of the hotrod and modify it to allow dual exhaust. I could borrow an engine stand, but it's probably going to be a while before I'm ready to install it, so I just wanted a little cart I could move it around the garage on. I havn't cleaned the weld spatter or painted it yet, I'll do that to sell it after I take it off the motor when I put it in the car.

wow...I've never heard of a 5th grade graduation. I'm thinking we'd be missing that party.........

It will be hard for her to understand now but something better is right around the corner!

I know this is an old post, but I'm just catching up for the last few days.

I love this picture. The colors came out great. It was a wonderful evening and fun was clearly had by all!

Love those meet pictures! Stacey, glad you found a good shopping buddy, somebody close by.

And I think the Scubas/Chip&Dales must have been having a GREAT time! Matt usually doesn't smile like that unless there's a large plate of food in front of him.

Ok, it's official. We broke down and bought some multi-day, non-expiring park passes. Decided to blow our tax refund on this trip! We will be in the parks on May 23. The plan is to hit AK early, get as many rides on EE as we can, maybe do the Safari, have lunch. Take an afternoon break, then head to Epcot since it's a late night there. We're having dinner at Les Chefs at 6:30. I think Kevin hopes to take some pictures of Illuminations. Anyone else going to be around that day?

How is Kevin going to fit that in around diving? :confused3

Irene - You can't cut your hair. That's how I can find you easily in a crowd - your long braid. It was funny to see you scuba diving with your (3ft or so braid) floating straight up in the water. I hope Jim or Matt got a picture of that. I do know Matt has a picture of you "marching" into the Dive Entry way.

I guess we should take a look at the pictures and see what we got.

Sharon, your computer has the slot for the camera card so it will be easiest for you to load them up. :thumbsup2

Good for you! :thumbsup2 I have a 'tip' for you regarding EE. If you get there right when the park opens and hoof it to EE; grab FastPasses, then get in the standby line. You should be able to ride standby at least 2 times (maybe 3) before the FP line opens (around 9:40). For the 1st 40 minutes or so, standby moves quickly! Then, since you got FPs 1st thing, you should be able to FP again around 9:45! That's what we did during Spring Break (which was VERY busy!) and never really stood in much of a line at all! :thumbsup2 I'm sure I made this sound much more confusing than it really is! :rotfl2:

We agree with this advise. That is exactly what we did and it worked out great.

:grouphug: To Ashley. So hard to be in that spot. I know, I was there in 7th grade. All my friends made the squad, but I didn't. Very hard for a girl to take at that age. But I managed to live through it and found other fun things to do....like science club. and yearbook staff. and "school nurses assistant" Ok, I'm not helping.
