I see it now. :)
That's better!

You crack me up!

The boards are starting to slow down so that must be my queue to get out of here before I offend everybody.

I'll think of you as I go running in the morning knowing that you are also exercising because we are watching!

KT has a friend over. Nick and Mike are watching Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. I popped in and watched the movie for a few minutes and said "HEY, isn't that Snape?" Didn't recognize him by his looks, but more his voice. Checked movie data base and BINGO, I was right! Cool. Waiting for him to pull some wizarding moves on Kevin Costner....

He was also the villain in the first Die Hard movie.......

This, after talking about Sir Scuba in his Speedo???? :earseek:

But truly, you taught me something.

And I knew you were teasing...I was teasing you back!

Heading for bed. I was going to go to bed early, but I started working on this:

Another sign for the door.

Another good one!!
I'm still trying to catch up afer a couple of days.

Man -- you guys have been busy today. I had a ton of posts to catch up on. Came home after work and picked up Ashley for her music lesson, then we had to go to the mall to do some shopping. She is going to her first Bat Mitzfa(sp??) tomorrow and wanted something new to wear to the church and then again to the party at the Country Club tomorrow night. Needless to say, we just got home. I am so tired, I don't think I will hang around here tonight.

I have received three orders so far (very cool) Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Mary -- I love your design for the member cruise. That is so cool. When will they do stuff for the member cruise for 2007. That is something I might think of doing since Charley and I are having our 20 year anniversary next year.

I also love everyone's scoopie designs. I haven't even thought about designs yet.

Hey, all this talk about size.....Someone told me once "size does matter"....Come to think of it, it could have been Kevin who told me that!!! :confused3

But then, he is one of the few who has seen me in a Speedo.

Wow - guess our story didn't make much of an impression. I can tell you it wasn't at work since I was a copywriter for Sears at the time and Mark was an auto mechanic.

We actually met at a room party for a British sci-fi show called Blake's 7. It was at a sci-fi convention that Mark was attending but I just came for the party with some friends. We then got to know each other online as he joined a local bbs (think a much much smalller local version of the DIS) and then he started hanging out with our group.

We met in Feb. 1999, started dating is August 1999, got engaged in March 2000 (16 years ago yesterday) and married in October 2000.

Sorry, Mary! My memory stinks. I did remember that I liked your story, though! Don't know if Kevin posted on this or not, I'm playing catch up here, but we met in a dance CLASS. One that I was teaching, and he was taking.

No I'm the one who slept in I guess.

We met in 1989, got married in 1990. Silly me! Thanks for the catch!

Just proves the adage, time flies when you're having fun!

And he basically said the same things to me.....but the ending was....

"and I want to spend the rest of my life...."

"YES?????????"

".....the rest of my life.....with BOB!"

ACK! I guess what goes around, comes around, eh?

That is NOT the same story you told us last time!! NOT. I would have remembered it!

I knew it had something to do with dancing! I get two points for that.

Kevin....again, you win for the funniest pictures!! So you just keep a supply of monkey pictures handy??

I did some more work on my "Double Scoop" door sign. Made the background lime green and added some of Home Depot's Mickey heads.
I want to make one more that has a real picture on it, like Mary's. I may use one that I took at CC the last time we were there and I was trying to be a good photographer like Kevin.

BTW, Mary.....your picture for the Member cruise is astounding!! If they don't pick it, then they have no taste!!

Didn't she say that they had met in the Hostess aisle of the grocery store? Somewhere near the cupcakes? :lmao:

My goodness, we were chatty today! I haven't been home all day, it's been one of those running around and getting nowhere days. Finally caught up!

You may resume.

What you can do is go to your photobucket account. Over that picture will be a button that says "edit"

click on that and then scroll down to "resize"

usually resizing it 50% smaller helps a lot. then click save or whatever.

It will AUTOMATICALLY resize on the DIS so you do'nt have to come back and change it.

Just know that once you make it smaller, you can't make it bigger unless you upload it again.

HTH

Thank you so much. I did it, yes you can go check it is much much much smaller...
But for some reason .....(wait for it)....

not quite as satisfying :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yeah....and, btw, MARY was my inspiration for even SETTING those goals!!!
I just copied after her. :)

And I am coping after both of you. You were both my inspiration to get started! Thank you! Sincerely you are awesome and I really appreciate your lead.

BTW - I'm pretty proud of this so I'm sharing it with you guys. Here's a design I came up with for the Member Cruise t-shirts. Don't know if it will be the one used or not but I'm still happy with it. Mark helped a lot.
