Welcome back! Hows the weather in the Keys?

So, I'm hearing Sharon will write the "trip report"??

Enjoy the movie, I finally saw it Friday, thought it was good! Just glad I went to the bathroom before it started. It's looonnng! :teeth:

Happy Sunday everyone. My dad seems to be doing better. He is still in ICU, and had to have 2 more blood transfusions yesterday. He ended up with 6 total transfusions. Hopefully, he will be moved into a room later today. THey had to start giving him breathing treatments yesterday to keep any fluid from building up in his lungs, since he had been laying in one place for so long. His vitals are all doing okay.

Gotta go, I have so much to do today.

Yay, we heard from Jim! Sounds pretty fabulous, can't wait to hear more.

Pam, it's good to hear some hopeful news.

Garry, have a good time at WDW! Lucky dog!

Irene, got the pin, thanks so much! Super cute, I'm sending you a check for it.

Our paper hasn't arrived this morning, this is disrupting my Sunday rountine. Now what am I supposed to do?

Pam....good news about your Dad! Keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed that he will keep improving, and not have any more trouble.

Welcome (ALMOST) home, Jim and Sharon! Sounds like a terrific cruise, no matter where you went. If you say the food was that good, then it must have been beyond outstanding!

Good morning, gaRry.....guess I forgot, why are you going to Philly?

GOOD MORNING TO YOU TOO, MARY!

Kiki.....you're right, NCL does get some bad press. I've been trying to not look at that, and just tell myself exactly what you said "It's better than working!". We are really starting to get excited about it...all of us. Anytime you're on the ocean is a GOOD time. We don't go to the shows much, anyway...so not worried about that. And we're happy grabbing pizza...not worried about that. I'll definitely try to remember to not "compare"......but you are SO GOING TO LOVE DCL!!!

There's a good reason that some of us keep coming back to DCL.....we're hooked!

We survived our day yesterday ... our first day with no help. I was tired of eating turkey leftovers last night so we went eat Mexican.

Today is dreary looking outside but none of us have been out today.

Hope everyone is having a good Sun. It will be hard to get back in the routine tomorrow.

I think I'll try to finish up on Christmas cards today or early this week. Still no decorations up for us. I'm not sure if we'll be up for it this year. I guess I didn't win the NBC Today weekend show contest. Oh well!

And Garry swoops in for the TOP!

I ordered something from an obscure web site this morning, a place Kevin steered me to. I went to check out and all my shipping information was pre-filled, address, phone, and all! Freaked me right out. How did they do that? I've never been to that web site before!

Any chance that Kevin has ordered from there and you are using a shared credit card?????????????

it's pre-Christmas.....

it's "work blown up......

Patience is a virtue........

Pictures, soon, I hope.......

Pam - glad to hear abot your Dad....

Jim - welcome back - almost....Sam wants me to go to Key Largo for a wetsuit... long story - includes sunburn from snorkeling....

OK - so "check's in the mail....Just kidding Diana...

Has Snoopie arrived where he belongs yet....We care about that little cone....

Today was early Mass for us and then home for garden chores. We propped up more shrubs that were swayed over by the storm....and weeded. Apparenntly weeds (foot tall nasty things) took over when the trees were cut down..you could not see the beds for the weeds and we are losing our grass....I tried to hose down the walkways, but will need to rent a presure cleaner.

A few more outside decorations. After the lampost, which needs a part due to the storm, we will be done for this year. Publix has not yet received their fresh trees, a tradition for us. I wanted it today to put in a bucke tof water.

Last night we had dinner outside by the patio fire. Must buy melamae plates as the Christmas Spode and outside patio's do not mix!!!!

Ran a few Christmas errands, did some returns....no cards written yet, and I still hav pumpkins around the house needing tending to...

oh, well, off to watch football....

Hi, Irene!

Yes, I posted a day or 2 ago (they all run together after awhile!) that Scoopie had arrived! Tori's taking good care of him.

Pam, glad to hear your Dad's doing better. Will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

What a great day! Got alot accomplished. We only need to do the outside decorating (if we do it) and we're ready!! I'm so excited now. I can go to work, run after the kids, and not have to worry about the holiday stuff. Whew.

What fun, going through the decorations and pulling out the things from last year....you were right, Mary...lots of memories.
I put up our Christmas DCL print that we had Ducky Williams sign. (Big thanks again to Angie/MrsMork for doing all the standing in line!)
I have gaRry & Virgil's ornaments right here, by my desk, so that I can look at them while I am DIS-ing. :goodvibes

Jordan called, they are stuck on the freeway, on their way home. They wanted to know if there was anything on the news about the traffic back-up. No....just a whole lot of people returning from a long holiday weekend.

Looking forward to the Cozumel report Jim.

Was searching around on the Coz section of the Scubaboards and came across This Cozumel Photo album
It's pretty comprehensive. Somewhat bleak, but VERY encouraging! The island is working very quickly to get everything back in order. I bet they are back to "normal" faster than New Orleans from the look of it!

Wow, Kevin, thanks. They have done a lot in a short amount of time.
It is just so hard to see...... very sad, all that destruction.

Laura - thankls for the Scoopie update (twice). Sorry that I missed it.....thought I had been reading all the posts... wonder what else I missed???

Back to work for me and a busy one at that.

Welcome Home to all who have been traveling, and I hope all had a great Thanksgiving.

Good morning cruisers!

Happy Monday!

Well we finished up the inside decorating and got those boxes put away. It was rainy here so no outside work (even when it wasn't raining it was way too muddy to be going up on ladders - Mark not me). So hopefully we'll do that some night this week. Still have to do the cards and finish up a bit of shopping, but all in all we are in good shape. Still not feeling 100% either but better than I was.

Good Morning All - The carpenter is coming this am to install the new door and sidelight. The last (hopefully) home improvement this year! The door was supposed to be here in Oct when the siding was done. Sadly the 'mother ship' store sold me a door that had a delivery date of 6-8 weeks, not 10 days to 2 weeks.

Good Morning everyone!

Enjoying the peace and quiet here this morning...the long weekends always get to me, with everyone home.

I've been trying to teach the dog to use the doggie door. If we hold the flap open for him, he'll use it, and he pushes at it with his paw...but so far, has only gone through it once by himself.
Jared installed it himself and did a great job!

It looks like I will have to go buy a new pair of Dockers. Not only did the zipper not zip, but it appears that mine have also mysteriously shrunk in the rear and thighs! It's a mystery to me! :confused3 LOL Can we say BUFFET??

I will give you the condensed version of the trip report in between laundry, etc.

First the overall trip was fantastic. Jim and I had a great time eating way too much, being with friends (neighbors across the street), and RESTING!!! We really needed this down time from our hectic schedules.
