Hi everyone,

Had my sis and her two kids over this morning till mid afternoon. surprise visit from them after the soccer games. I was still in my pj's. Got dressed in a hurry and had a "tea party" in the backyard.

Hope everyone is having a great day!!

If ScapHappyMoma is anything like her tag, we will be expecting wonderful hints on memory books as we get ready for the cruise. This is our 2nd as well, DH's BD as well, but not his 40th......(sez who - he asks!)

Oh, I would be more than happy to give tips to anyone that might ask.... but fair warning, the scrapbook from our first cruise (May 2004) is now two volumes, about 3 inches thick each, and I still have probably 10 pages to complete. As with everything else I do, in scrapbooking I tend to go a tad overboard. :rolleyes1

Nick and Emmy certainly make their family rounds. I am glad my family has the 'takes a village' outlook. (Plus we are all in a 30 mile area)

A pic from our Wonder cruise last week. i still cant believe *I* took this pic with my own camera....I think it is so pretty it is the dock at Nassau

And this one is good too I cant believe it came out so well. I have never been able to get a good crisp night shot of EPCOT

Scoopie was not able to have fun with me. He had to work and put in for his fair share of the cruise price :-)

Scoopie did not follow proper safety regulations and had a bit of an accident

*no cones were harmed in the making of this photo

Alls well that ends well. In the end Scoopie picked up the job well and earned his keep while he was at our home!

OK I am off to pick up some pizza for the kids and there had BETTER be lots of posting to come home too!!!!!!

I came out of the closet.

But not for long. I just had to sit for a minute. What a shame. I have tons of clothes that I'll never wear again....some still with tags, and I don't sell on eBay! I could at least buy a couple of meals at WDW with the $$ I could make. And so many different sizes, too. Just who was I kidding, keeping size 7's???

Amanda....I love the one at Nassau. I've never seen that side before, we've always been on the "other" side. Not much to look at over there. And...now that I think about it, we've also left port both times, before dark.

Poor Scoopie!! All tangled up in hard work. Good thing he's going to get some R & R at F & W.

We had something at our old house. Scratching in a vent. The cat was obsessed with it. Would sit there all day and listen. We figured it was a mouse in the duct work somewhere (this was a floor vent for the heating/cooling) My parents came down once and my dad snaked a rope down two stories of twisted duct work thinking that if it WAS a mouse, it could now climb up the rope and at least be caught.

Turned out it was a bird who had made a nest in the exhaust from our dryer (which vented out right under our bathroom.) One day I was behind the house and saw straw and stuff sticking out of that vent. Voila, problem solved. Nest was right at the opening. What a way to incubate eggs....the bird thinks "cool, dryer is on, I have 45 minutes till I have to be back here!"

I did manage to keep our first and only family trip to WDW a secret -

We surprised the kids twice. Our second trip to Disney was a total surprise for them (Nick was 3, KT was 6) They figured it out with a scavenger hunt we had planned. KT could NOT believe it was true!

Then we surprised them with an unexpected 3 day cruise. )Nick was 6, KT was 9) Told them we were taking Grandma and Grandpa to the airport for THEIR Disney cruise. KT was borderline rude to Grandma for not inviting HER to go along. She could NOT believe that they would cruise without HER! Told them on the way to the airport. Had to produce airline tickets and cruise documents to get her to believe it. Have some GREAT pictures of the expressions on their faces as they figured it out!

Mi kids are re-arranging my living room furniture!!!!! Who knew that they would like to do that?!?!?!? I am tricking them into cleaning while they are rearranging......

I used to rearrange my room nearly every week. I even had plotted my room out on graph paper and had cut to scale cut outs of my furniture so I could plan it and make sure it fit before I ever moved a piece of furniture!

I cant believe I forgot to show yall my goodie that I got on board! It is a swarvoski oin but I intend toturn it into a necklace somehow!

Oh, that would be BAD..... I would have to go all Griswold. :rotfl:

Seriously, no chance. Luckily, the docs that I work for are VERY generous. :jumping1:

Mike and I just discussed this over dinner.....who was getting what for Christmas bonuses this year. One week salaries for two of his ppl (his nurse and main prepper) And then honeybaked hams for about 8 others in the office. Man, I wished I worked for him....

Oh...I do! ;) You'd think the woman who cooked his meals and washed his underwear deserves a ham, don't you??
