I'm NOT slacking off!!! I'm just watching and laughing my butt off. You guys are sooo funny. YOU are funny!!! Can't wait to meet you. What is the quota for the day...4 posts? I will try my best, but ya know what happens when I get on these boards? I look up and 2 hours have past...not good for the woman here. I've had to iron 3 loads of laundry because I left them in their respective baskets too long. I hate that and I keep doing it. Oh, and white clothes...hate 'em. All those little white socks!!! So, if you don't see me posting, don't get mad at me. Just trying to keep up with the wood chips, dust, and laundry in this house. Everytime another contractor comes in, I have to vacuum and/or dust again. Be careful what you wish for.

Gotta go...DH is home and I don't want him to think I'm slackin' off. See ya all tonight.

Well I had one mission I wanted to accomplish today and I did it. I found the DIS meet sign so we can take it on the Member Cruise. Those of you who were on the 10 day didn't see the sign because like a dummy I put it in our checked bags thinking that since we dropped them off with a porter right when they opened the gates they would get to our room before 3pm - NOT.

Anyway the sign has been on two cruises with us, one cruise with Verandah Man and was at the first big NJ DIS meet.

The sign will, of course, come with on the May cruise as well. When Mark takes a picture for the Member Cruise thread I'll be sure and post it her so you can take a look.

OK... I am officially SICK of house hunting. We have found the house that we absolutely LOVE, but are in the 'negotiation' phase, so we're still looking at others. I don't want to see any more!!!!!!!!! (And no, I haven't found a buyer for ours yet, but it's only been on the market since Saturday.)

There... thanks for letting me have my little hissy fit... I feel better now.

That is a lesson I learned a long time ago. Sharon and I were in Toronto and saw a little brass puppy statue. We loved it, but did not buy it. We got home and I called the store to buy it. It was gone. They could not order another one. I have been looking ever since for that brass puppy.

There are times when you only have once chance. Grab it or it may be your brass puppy!

That is a lesson I learned a long time ago. Sharon and I were in Toronto and saw a little brass puppy statue. We loved it, but did not buy it. We got home and I called the store to buy it. It was gone. They could not order another one. I have been looking ever since for that brass puppy.

In my case, its a gold turtle ring that I didn't buy in Bermuda... to this day, I can't find another one like it. Maybe I'll find one in Costa Maya.

Hi Everyone,

I'm in between laundry loads, so I thought I would take a look and see what's going on. Can't believe the shuttle was scuttled. (heehee I made a rhyme) Guess they REALLY want to make sure things are A-O-K.

Things in construction world are good. Hubby has taken tomorrow off to catch up on work he missed on the weekend when his back went out. I am told to make believe he's not here tomorrow. So, I asked him if he would mind if my boyfriend still came over... What a joker I am. WHY would I want another guy? One is MORE than enough. Can you believe having to deal with 2 of them??? No thank you. Don't flame me guys, I'm just kidding.

Not much else going on in NY. Today was very overcast and grey. Kids were really bored. I told them to help me with the laundry, but that didn't fly all that well. Go figure. Well, I get "E" for effort for trying anyway, right? Kids....

OK, gotta go and finish up. Kids are doing tie-dye at camp tomorrow and their shirt that they are using is still in the dryer. Maybe I'll get lucky and see you all back here later.

Wine Report - Bubbles

Princess Perlante Banfi - Wine in a petillant style - the best description tonight was that this was a "summer wine". I can imagine lying on a float on a hot day in the pool. It is crisp, not seet and very small bubbles...as it is fermented in the bottle....(impressed - wait there is more)

Robert de Shlumberger Brut 2001 - The grapes are from Argentina but the wine is fermented in Austria, oldest celler there. It has a burst of bubbles on the tongue and is definitely a Brut.

LaDemoisella Rose Brut Grand Cuvee - smooth bubbles, with a soft and creamy texture and almost a hint of strawberries. It is NOT a rose, rated 91 points. Take a sip close your eyes and you are in the best Bubble Bath you have ever had --- my girlfriend and I had the exact same re-action. Strangely, the literature recommends this as a feminine champagne.

Rumball Sparkling Shiraz - this was the wine I wanted to taste. OK I tasted it...disappointing. Where's the bucket. I enjoy a standard Shiraz, and will stay with them......

Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin - yellow label c'est tres bien. A true champagne...More please. But at $48.00 per bottle, I brought home the LaDemoisella.

And the food was enjoyable as well, scallops, oysters, caviar, cheese, cracker and more.

OK.........I worked ALL day on my online class, and to reward myself, I'll check in here for a few minutes before I start dinner.

Remind me next time that it is easier to physically take the class, rather than take the online version!

REMINDER - take class in person - but first - locate class at great resort - second - get boss or confirmation of tax deduction - to pay for room at great resort to take class. Third - sign up for sessions on Thursday and Friday morning so you have to stay over the weekend...Finally, if applicable con (request) MIL or friends to watch assorted kids and/or pets because you are so stressed taking the class.

PS - do good in class so you get re-imbursed......
