Woo Hoo! You can now book all your Palo, Spa, and Kids reservations online! Just read this on the main board. You go to the DCL site, put in your reservation number and I think your birthday and you are in. Others have talked about making Spa, Palo, Flounders and Kids Clubs reservations. I'm thinking you have to be paid in full so we all have to wait :)

Can we do this even if we booked through a TA? Just think ... no rushing around when we get on board. We can get there early & just start RELAXING!!!

This is great news for me since we're first time cruisers. I wasn't looking forward to being stressed about getting ressies!

Ugh, 4nd grade field day this a.m. 9-11...teach pilates 11:30-12:30 race back to school for 2nd grade field day until 2:30 - ahh, the joys of being room mom - when other parents are too busy to volunteer....

Angie - yes you can do it even booking through an agent. You need your Disney confimation number and the birthdate of the person who made the reservation (you or your DH - not your agent).:)

Those of us who have cruised before and are therefore Castaway Club members can book at 90 days. Being a first time cruiser you will have to book at 75 days. I think you still have a great advantage over those who don't go to sites like this and may not know about it. Especially first time cruisers!

Edited to add - let's hope all those gold card people don't take up all the best times ;) Just kidding guys - some of my favorite people are gold carders.

I need to figure out when that will be and mark it on my calendar. What am I saying? You guys will remind us, right?:goodvibes

The June 4th cruise that we're on....they called me Friday and on Tuesday, I think it was, I talked to concierge to book what few ressies we wanted.
Last night, I looked at DCL's site because they have an itinerary that you can print out. I had booked Palo brunch for my parents and Jay & I. My reservation had only MY name for the brunch. After I looked a little further, it did say for 1-2 adults. So I thought "Okay, they're booking it per couple". I looked at my parent's reservation and they didn't have the brunch at all. Luckily, I booked them brunch at the same time as Jay & I online.
Also.....they had booked my parents for an excursion that I had wanted for our whole family (kids too) they didn't have us all on there. So I booked us on it with my parents.
So, if I have concierge again...and I call them with my requests, I will always back it up by checking online.
What was really cool was pre-registering Jared for the Lab.....AND....downloading our documents so I can have them all done. And I like that now I won't have to bring the heavy book DCL sends....all my signed docs will be on paper in my folder with the rest of my trip info. They even have the charging privileges form......very cool.
It is still going to take a phone call to link reservations and to request a particular dining rotation.
And I found out about the "new" dining system of staggered times. If you have late seating for example....8:30 dinner......they are telling some people that their dinner time is 8:00, some 8:15 and some 8:30. Dinner is still basically at 8:30...but you can arrive earlier. They want to try to lessen the congestion in the hallway leading to Animator's and Parrot Cay.
Interesting stuff.........

That's so cool that you guys are going so soon!! Have fun!

Still going to DW in August?

OhioMinnie is still in Florida. It is dark, cold, and raining again today!

Is she ever going to leave? I want the sun back! And I'm betting she will never go through and read all the posts.

In order to get REAS, Sharon used the excuse of booking Palos and spa early.

Now she will try using 15 days early as a reason to get the gold card. :confused3

Wouldn't miss that trip for anything!! We cancelled our summer Disneyland vacation for the cruise.

Hmm... wonder what that will do to REAS and also linking dinner rotations???

Just read on the main board that if you do REAS, you can book 105 days out.

BTW, what's a gold card? Please enlighten me.

What we need is to have a Gold Card member to make us a group reservation for brunch! We did this on the Christmas cruise and it was a ball!

Those who are booked into cats 1, 2 & 3 have gold KTTW cards. They also get priority boarding and with the new booking system get to make their reservations 105 days before sailing as opposed to 90 days for Castaway Club members and 75 days for first time cruisers.

Thanks....guess I know now why I don't know....not in a cat 1, 2, 3, (or 4, 5 or 6 even....) :rotfl:

One of the "more informed" DIS members can answer more correctly, but it my understanding that it's the folks that get the big suites.

I wouldn't know about that.........
