Woo Hoo! You can now book all your Palo, Spa, and Kids reservations online! Just read this on the main board. You go to the DCL site, put in your reservation number and I think your birthday and you are in. Others have talked about making Spa, Palo, Flounders and Kids Clubs reservations. I'm thinking you have to be paid in full so we all have to wait

Hmm... wonder what that will do to REAS and also linking dinner rotations???

I'm thinking it will reduce the number of people doing REAS, but I don't think it should have an effect on linking reservations. I think it is a very cool option. Just tried it and was able to get in fine but it does say you need to be paid in full to do it. Guess it is a great incentive to pay up earlier.

Disney cruise line has implemented a new procedure where the shore excursions, palo, spa and kids activities can now be booked before boarding the ship.

Here are the guidelines

Shore excursions can be booked 90 days in advance

Spa, Palo and kids activity centers can be booked by the following guidelines
*75 days prior to embarkation.
*If you are a Castaway Club member, 90 days prior to embarkation.
*If you are a Concierge Guest, 105 days prior to embarkation

Oh wow, you are quicker than I on the keyboard. I just tried and realized we are sailing too far away.....Must get up early 90 days in advance to bet this group for Palos reservations, but then there is plenty of room for all. What a great new feature!

John said we'll be up at midnight to make our reservations and pay the cruise off on Day 91!!

This'll take the fun out of the DIS relay!!! Now, we'll still have to be at the terminal early to get on board for the shrimp!!!

That is a wonderful thing about these boards - everyone shares information. So we DIS'ers seem to get the best shot at things.

For example on the 10 day cruise it was right about the time they started taking reservations for shore excursions 90 days out. One DIS'er called the morning of the 90 day mark (a Sunday) and get their resevations. Within a couple of hours we were all on the phone and wouldn't take no for an answer. We just about booked the pirate cruise in St. Lucia ourselves. In fact someone on board (a lurker on the DIS boards who didn't read very often) said "you people took all the best reservations".
