Skipped over to the Main Cruise thread and learned something new - there is a Pirate Buffet - I did not know there was a Pirate Buffet - missed that somehow...

Note to self - pack extra large clothes for Christmas Cruise to wear to Palos - afer being stuffed for 2 days.....

How to pack a 7 day experience into 3? Any dieas?

So much to do and so little time to do it. We leave in 2 weeks for our road trip to WDW and the Member Cruise. Yikes!

2008... still probably a no-go for us... waiting patiently for NCL to release their 2008 dates, as we'll be sailing NY or Boston to Bermuda for my parents' 50th... for some reason, NCL is delaying their info release as well... supposedly not til January. I'm not very good at waiting!

You may want to go complain on the NCL boards.

We here on the DIS don't really care about the 2008 NCL dates!

Hey Jim,

Did you post a review of Banfi on wine.com? I read the review & thought of you. My best friend is coming for a visit next weekend. I bought a box mix (I know, I know ... ) of chocolate volcano (lava) cake. I thought we could try it while she's here. Then the thought of Banfi with it popped in to my head.... yum - chocolate & banfi!!! She wanted to know what it was so I search the web to find a description.

This talk of new computers is reminding me I have to get a new one soon. I've never liked the laptop types for the day to day computing. Just can't get used to the smaller keyboard. I think I'll wait until after the first of the year for the new Vista operating system has been out awhile and some of the early bugs are worked out.

Virgil, can't go Apple since allllll of my software is for the PC.

How to pack a 7 day experience into 3? Any dieas?

In six Disney cruises, I've only been to the Pirate buffet once, and even then only took pictures.
Since we leave dinner to go straight up there, we just aren't interested in more food.
And dare I say that on this last cruise, I skipped the Pirate party altogether?? GASP!
Since there's no Dumbotron (yet) on the Wonder, I didn't feel in the mood to go fight the crowds.
Ahh...how the Magic has spoiled us.

But now the Wonder will be even better!! Mary tells me that they are adding a waterfall to the adult pool. I didn't know that! How cool.

I can either send disks, or post some of the highlights here. Most of mine are scenery. I did take pictures of all of us at dinner, but it was funny, without the kids there, I didn't take as many pictures.

Here are a couple....the first two were in Barbados, the 2nd two in St Kitts.

This last one was at the Brimstone Hill Fortress. Amazing fort!


Diana's just afraid she'll accidentally erase them all like I did in May!

We have done the box mix of lava cake and loved it. A good quality kit can be as good as Palos....and a lot easier.

More likely, be scared. This is the most unprepared we've been for a trip this close to the time to go.

I havn't even made the buttons yet!

But.... that is a much easier process than it has been in the past, I only need an afternoon to make the whole batch.

But picking out clothes, making sure we have everything we need to pack into the car(we're driving down and back).. all that fun stuff needs to get done very soon!

Maybe a moot point soon. I remember reading something about upcoming Macs being able to dual boot and full on run Windows?
