Which is where I'm trying to talk KT into going. Couple of reasons....#1, their theater department is MUCH better than OSU's (or so we've heard from ppl who are in theater) and #2, it's 10 minutes away from Mark and Mary which means she could live there instead of in the dorms!! :lmao:

Ummm - you may want to rethink that once you see our house. What would have been a guest room is the computer room and there is no way we are giving that up. Even for Mark's smoothie son's sister. :lmao:

However we are nearby if she ever needs us.

Monica -- your school district sounds just like mine. I can't believe they wait until March or April to put out the calendar. I go through this every year with them. It is even more difficult for us in 2008, because it will be Dale's High School Graduation. Seems like they always have graduation after school finishes. So, I will need to get the calendar then find out from the school when graduation will be. All of the large schools here have to use the Don Haskins Center at UTEP, so graduations are stacked on top of each other. Waiting, waiting. I will start calling the School District's Superintendent's office starting in January.

Well said, Mike! I can't tell you how many shout outs the DIS boards got on the cruise. Even from the big boss.

We are in the same boat on school schedule. It generally starts quite early here, and finishes early, but you never know. Waiting for the release of the 2007-08 and 08-09 calendars sometime this Spring. At least we get two years at a time. One thing for sure, I can't dictate the recital date this time! I'm going to let the studio director tell me when it will be. We have to be here, Alicia will probably be teaching and choreographing some numbers for that one.

Working at the Antique Mall today, must scurry!

Also, if KT became a cheerleader at Northwestern, she could lead their favorite cheer. After the oppossing team screams "We're #1", NW will respond with

"That's alright, that's ok, you're going to work for us someday"

I've spent the last two days converting my office PC to a new laptop... so no daytime DIS'ing...(Not to be confused with the personal laptop that I already have... why on earth do I need two???) Seems like its been quiet here! Guess I haven't missed much.

I DO love the new laptop, though... 17" screen, all the bells and whistles.

2008... still probably a no-go for us... waiting patiently for NCL to release their 2008 dates, as we'll be sailing NY or Boston to Bermuda for my parents' 50th... for some reason, NCL is delaying their info release as well... supposedly not til January. I'm not very good at waiting!
