Came home last night and Hedgie was guarding the mail...

The Crusie Travel Kit had arrived....I was shocked. We only booked Tuesday (Jim - did you get yours).

For the Double Scoop, I pestered Mark to post his since it took Fooooorever for us to receive ours from the T/A. I e-mailed her several times....

So, what does this mean? Either Disney has now perfected the sysem to print these - or we have a better TA than the last?

This time I even read the hard copy

OK Posters, I am trying to shamelessly boost the count so we don't loss our title while the girls are cruising. How could we face Stacey.

Here is a question - posted often on other threads and while I checked the FAQ - did not see it there...Sorry if I missed it Mary.

Travel Insurance - to buy or not to buy, and when to buy?

We do not really need TA for Sam and I - should we cancel - it would be work related. Unlikely for me this time of year....but with an older Mother - who knows.....so, do you pay approx. $50. a person to protect the investment for a full refund....But wait, will we get a full refund....I read the small print - it covers hospitalization of a family member - I presume older parents count, the terms are not defined......or a family member needing care.

Why can't an 11 year old boy be just as enthusiastic about cleaning his room as he is about cleaning up a beach? Service projects and volunteerism starts in the home...

The same reason that during Hurricane Season 2004, my kids cleaned EVERYONE's yards but ours... (though, now that I think about it, the older neighbors payed in cash, whereas, we paid in room and board).

Tom McAlpin hinted today that they might be doing something special for the summer of 2008, but didn't say what yet. He didn't say when the bookings would open, but he said the announcement for any special sailing would be sometime in February.

Pretty quiet onboard, if you ask me. Not a lot of adult activities. Poor planning there, I think.
But the menus have some new dishes, which is great.
We're loving our room...and there haven't been any cat fights. Yet.

Looking forward to St Thomas/St John tomorrow.

We have gotten special 11 Night pins....and we DID each get the CC gift. Looks like there will be a t-shirt made for this cruise. And we already got a cute litho of Lilo and Stitch. I plan on having Don Williams sign it.
No lines for pictures or anything. They weren't taking upgrades at the port, but the ship is nowhere near full. LOTS of empty tables at dinner.

What to do....read the small print. My opinion has always been those policies are very narrowly defined. So fine that claims are rarely paid out.

The best option for me has been DAN. As a diver you should have their travel insurance.

Thanks Jim - I dug out the contract again - helps when it is not 11:00 at night....
We are DAN members - not sure what their travel insurance is - but will ask Sam....Need to make sure that our gear is covered for the November Trip as well...
