Ray just called, on his way to the Jags/Steelers game... he tells me NOW that he just found out that he's got to work the NC/Clemson game on Saturday.... OOOOOKKKKKKK... but I have to leave here for MCO by 6AM Sunday... and Elizabeth is supposed to be at a sleepover... anybody wanna rent a 9-year old boy for the weekend???? Ahhh... the joys of parenting!

Do you extend that invite to 9 year old girls??? I have one who would be in absolute heaven to be around horses even if it meant cleaning out a few stalls . She got plenty of practice on barn duty during her week at Girl Scout camp this summer.

It's my turn for temp single parent duty this weekend - John leaves Friday for Alaska. Sure, send him our way - what's one more??? - He'll luck out and miss sitting at Nutcracker rehearsal and play practice by joining Mike on Galveston Beach cleaning up with the Jr. High Youth Group.

Why can't an 11 year old boy be just as enthusiastic about cleaning his room as he is about cleaning up a beach? Service projects and volunteerism starts in the home...

Sorry KikiKaren - I'm not sure he will enjoy our upcoming weekend - It is back to hacking away at the jungle after ignoring it for the past (gulp) month.....and then diving on Sunday......I'm afraid we'd get jailed for slave labor on day one and child abuse if we leave home alone on day 2.....

Now last weekend when we were at WDW...

They are not ready for Food and Wine yet.....Booths are there but the landscaping mst be totally redone still. No pub booth yet, no special count booth near the entrance way.....Come-one Mouse - only 2 more weekends and it opens....

Hey GaRRy - I see a side business in your future - A Weekend at GaRRy's Kid's Horse Camp where the dissers kids learn take a behind the stalls tour of horses......

Thye pay you money for camping fees- they help with chores, and all you need to do is give them food and a clan blanket to be down in the barn And the parents get a week off....

Wonder if you need a license
