We are in Orlando staying at the Crowne Plaza. First time doing this.

We can leave the car here for free so it is just as cheap to come down, spend the night, and use their shuttle bus.

Good Morning All - we lost phone and internet service at the house for 1.5 days.....and I was out of town yesterday. It till be like "ole times" to see what you all have been up to with many posts, I trust.

I have been reviewing some posts - to find tidbits for the album.......It's been a fun 45,000 posts (wonder where I actually jumped in) and ready for another 100 weeks til a DO OVER.....

Tiny Tink and Stace - We have lots of Disney stuff - mostly prins which are in our bedroom...It was the only room with vacant walls when we began collecting - so, not the most typical, but hey, we like it....

Still need to frame Stitch - Ducky's print we won on the cruise...(thanks again Ladypoo for holding our tickets while we were at Palo's)......we are out of wall space so, something in the house will need to come down.....pretty sure Stitch will be our first Disney in the TV Room.....

Does anyone know the the numbers 39(3) mean on a storey sketch. My B-day present this year was a sketch from the Brave Little Tailor....It does not yet have wall space. I thought perhaps, the 3 panel for the 39th second?

No baseball tonight....game tomorrow and on Friday. Need to start to check hotels for Kingman, just in case.

We went for Chinese tonight...sure beats ballpark hotdogs. Then to the Mother Ship. Gotta love Home Depot.

Unfortunately, only a few of them know Jay like we do....but this lady does now!

You know, it isn't really that I chipped it, and this is what bothers me....it's basically just breaking off. I looked in a magnifying mirror last night, and there's another tooth that's doing the same thing, and a third one that looks like it has cracks in it. Maybe the doctor was right about the osteoporosis....would that effect your teeth???

Yucky - I hope the "on-call" dentist will be ale to help!!!!

I've been listening to tons of podcasts lately....and one I've listened to is by Joyce Meyer about having a positive attitude and the difference it can make in your life. She talked about how bad stuff happens to everyone (some more than others) but you can turn a bad attitude around by adding the words "but God" to the end of your complaint....

I lost my job.....but God....
My spouse is sick....but God....
My kid is rebellious.....but God.....

(and fill in that but God with some way that God has used that situation to help you in some way.

Advice we can use right now.....Sam's best friend came down lst night - that's one way to clean the spare room in a hurry - His Sister and Niece are in the hospital - outbreak of a massive staph infection. Niece has had surgery...she lost part of her beast where the infection migrated....Their entire house needs to be disinfected? Scarey stuff...

Sam's sister is still in the hospital - 7 hours of surgery for her...waiting to hear about recovery....

But God? now has both friends together so they can support each other?

We get new windows in two weeks, yeah!!!

We are also going on another mini trip for my birthday next week. Great Wolf Lodge here we come. I can't wait we got these kids cabin rooms that look pretty kewl.

The two older DS's are going to New York with my brother ans SIL on friday, two down, two to go.

that means I still have to unpack from this past weekend then turn around and pack again for our mini trip.

If anyone will be in/around the Williamsburg, VA area and want a mini dis meet let me know. We will be there July 21-23.

Enjoy Williamsburg - we were there hum 3 years ago? Make sure you book dinner in the old town at night. I'll check and see where we ate and post later...It was intersting (the town is lit by gaslight).

Just got home and our satellite tv is out, but the satellite internet is OK. The basement is flooded more than it's ever been since we moved in. Rain sits in the yard, drains down to the field tiles, then water comes up the drains in the basement floor that lead to the field tiles. DH replaced the sump pump, but it's not going to do much good right now. The joys of country living...

Hope that the flooding is not too severe.

One of our favourite places.......when I get caught up on the cruise albums, I'll try to post a few most not miss places. Plus with the inter-isalnd airlines, you can visit other islands the way we take the bus into the city....

Wow - yesterday seemed like a long day for me. We did a BBQ at work and I was on my feet setting it up and working it from 10 am until about 1:30 (did get a break to eat for about 45 minutes. Much more activity than I usually get in my daily job which is good but between the humidity, the smoke from the BBQ and everything else I was just wiped at the end of the day. I came home took a nice long shower and relaxed. I relaxed so much that I fell asleep for a couple of hours. I did wake up in time to see the start of the new season of Project Runway. Anyone watch this?​

Safe travels to the Scuba clan today and a reunion up in Alaska. Jim glad to hear you are taking the lap top so we can all know Matt got there safe and sound.

Matt Update:
I tried his cell phone this morning, but got nothing. So I called the hotel American said they would put him. No Matt there, but wait....they just checked out a bunch of American employees. Sure enough he was in that group.

Looks like American took him to the hotel and brought him back for his flight. Still not sure what flight he is on, but he is Alaskan bound.

So we leave the Crown room and head down to the gate just in time to see they are delaying our flight for an hour.

Back to the Crown room where the book backup up flights.

Now Matt might beat us there!!!

Oh well, at least there is a full bar.....the coffee is great this morning!

Flooding was not too bad, you see
the only thing wet was our fake Christmas tree.
Everything else is safe and sound,
and the water level has gone down (poetic license).
Thank you for thinking of me.

Our yard is still flooded, basement is still very wet, but God has seen to it that our well is filled up for the summer!

That's a good thing... not the flooded part, but the full well!!

We ran in to Target to pick up toothpaste last night... while we were in there, we got the most torrential downpour I've seen in a long time... so of course we had to stay put... it ended up being a $70 tube of toothpaste by the time we got out of there. Now how did THAT happen???

Kiki, that happens to me at Target too. And at Costco, Trader Joe's, Sam's Club. Best to stay away.

We're out of here, heading to the airport in an hour. Off to DL and the heat. Will have to find out if the Scubas find Matt when I get home. Or maybe Kevin will keep me informed.

Irene, prayers and PD for your family and friends. Didn't quite follow the whole story about the staph infection, but it sounds bad.

They are going to Disney Land to dance in the parade and on stage at Disney Adventures. Should be fun.

Alicia is then meeting me at the LA airport and we go on a diving live-a-board for four days for some kelp diving off San Clemente and Catalina!!
