It appears his flight has Costa Rica and heading to Miami. He should get into Miami around 11:30 PM. Don't know what he has planned after that!

Proud as can be. You know Matt well.....he is just chilling his way through this.

He is currently in Miami rescheduling everything. It looks like they are going to put him up at the airport hotel and have him fly direct from Miami.

That will work out fine.

I always have faith in the airlines when kids fly. They don't want to do anything wrong because of all the Irene's in the world!!!

No baseball tonight....game tomorrow and on Friday. Need to start to check hotels for Kingman, just in case.

We went for Chinese tonight...sure beats ballpark hotdogs. Then to the Mother Ship. Gotta love Home Depot.

We haven't eaten out in awhile either (since my surgery) and ironically enough went out tonight for chinese too.

Thank goodness Matt is on the track to get with the fam! I'd totally be freaked out- maybe I'm a little overprotective. Maybe that will change by the time my kids are that age. We'll see. LOL

Glad to see you posting again. I know you posted your POC input but I totally forgot to ask about your surgery. All sounds well, which is glad to hear.

Matt seems to have a good head on his shoulders, great family to support him and, the best DIS friends ever!!!!

Can't wait to hear about the Alaska trip. We are not going anywhere near as exciting.

I made reservations for Kingman, AZ...where the Regional ball tournament will be held...does that count as finally getting to do something exciting this summer?

The boys may not make it that far, but I wanted to be sure that I had a room just in case.
Laughlin is just across the river...with all the casinos and hotels. I had several people tell me that I should get a room in Laughlin, so that I could "play" at night. But I think if we've had full days of baseball, and most likely dinner and movies after, I doubt I'd feel awake enough to hang out in a casino.

I'm almost looking forward to this....found a brand new Hampton Inn and Suites, further off the highway than most of the hotels. Sort of a mini-suite, two queens, small fridge, microwave, internet....and free hot breakfast! Okay....not free...included!

After we got home from our dinner, I've been sitting here finding a room in Kingman and just doing nothing. No nectar after dinner. And I was a good girl...I had water at dinner!

See....now Kevin has me paranoid about ALL of my teeth rotting and falling out!

He still doesn't understand the power of the DIS Boards!

sounds fun, my boys have not really committed themselves to a specific sport. We are testing out football this fall. We've done the soccer, karate, cub scout (one of the my boys is still a cub scout but the other one didn't bridge over to Boy Scouts because they expect you to just drop off your child and pick them up days later after the event is done. The dh and I are not the hands off kind of parents so we opted out of BS.) We still have to explore lax and boxing, so we'll see what kind of madness I have in store for me.

The DH is more excited about the football season then I am since I will be the chauffeur.

Well, have a good night it's 2am here in VA and I've got to get some zzzz's.

I didn't, I saw you with Jay and your bags poolside but I was so preoccupied with the DH hitting the buffet, the DS&DD in the pool and the baby was trying to get into the pool and me trying to keep an eye on all of them and our stuff since this was when we first boarded and rooms weren't ready.

I did recognize you and meant to introduce myself but never got around to it.

I found the DIS board pretty late it was only a few weeks before we cruised. Wish I found it sooner as I am not an addict. The DH now complains I am always on DIS. hehehe

He also accuses me of being one of those Disney nuts since I order the door knocker&mat and the fact I love Disney Shopping online but I will have to cut that down since we just purchased the DVC.

You will get to see who we are when you get Mark's DVD/CD cuz we sent in our pics of mostly the kids.

We got cut off during our last conversation so his cell phone might be dieing, but they were trying to book him on a flight from Miami into Anchorage for the morning.

I'll give him a few more minutes of sleep before calling the girlfriend.
