I'll have you know I carry my OWN weapon. And besides... Ray is in California.

Hey everyone,

Just checking in again. Yes, cruising period is better than staying home. I agree. I guess you have to take it for what it is. Augie keeps telling me that the Magic was soooo much nicer and we will probably NOT do a Carnival Cruise again. Maybe something with a little more, hmmmm, how could I say this, accomodations that we are accustomed to next time.

A little choppy today on the seas, but the Captain went around it and the sun is out and we are at the pool. Go Captain - he's Italian!!! And funny, too. Have to start packing and get ready for disembarkation tomorrow. Back to FL for a couple of days. Anybody going to be at the airport on Saturday night? We will be at the Hyatt.

Kiki - We have 2 blow-ups that will be in our yard this year. Please don't pop ours.

Gotta go and catch the sun.

Ciao for now...

Don't go believing Scuba... I DON'T pop inflatables.... I just don't care for them in my OWN yard. Besides... the snow-globe ones that may look cool in the rest of the country look STUPID in FL... after 5 minutes, they get all fogged up so you can't see in them, and the 'snow' sticks to the inflatable part... REAAAAAAALLLL pretty.

Sorry you're not having as much fun as you had with us!

Now THAT'S funny. I never thought about them doing that.

THAT explains the attitude......... :rolleyes1

I have a coffee mug that I use at the shop that says "I'm out of estrogen, and I've got a gun" The guys stay as far away as possible.

You guys will have to ask gaRry about the $1500 shore excursion I booked him on.

I told him it was the "All You Can Grab Diamond" excursion!!

Greetings from the Polynesian! It has been a very long but very fun day.

Up at 4 am - picked up by my in-laws at 4:45. Got to the airport and check-in was painless. Smooth flight and we are back in Orlando. Here is where the fun starts. We booked through Nationals Emerald Aisle. The person there tells us to pick any car in the aisle and Mark starts beaming as there is a VW bug convertible - so that is what we are driving!

Got to the Poly and since we had used advanced check-in (they are testing a new program where you can call and check in up to 10 days in advance) everything was ready for us except the room. They took our cell phone number and said they would call. Our plan was lunch at Kona Cafe anyway so that is what we did. After that picked up our tickets for the luau and then did a little shopping. Got our call that the room was ready so we went back to the car, got the luggage and to the room.

The rooms here are beautiful. They did a great job when they redid them. We have a 3rd floor room overlooking the quiet pool.

Rested in the room for a while and then headed over to the Magic Kingdom to activate our AP's. Did Pirates, a little shopping and then back to the room. We did the Spirit of Aloha show tonight (aka the luau). Good food and lots of fun. The storyline is a bit cheesy but the dancing is great.

Just going to check a few threads and then off to dreamland I go!

Hi Mary!! :wave2: I'm in heaven just hearing about it! And a BUG!! What a blast! Now you'll want to just drive around, rather than go to the parks! :thumbsup2

I can picture in my mind right where your room is, Jordan and I loved the quiet pool! Glad you enjoyed the luau. When we were there, they had a tiny mishap and set a bit of the stage decoration on fire. Oops!

Is Bear having fun??

Good Morning All - Hope that you have a great Day -

Launch tonight (we hope).....Look East!!!!

Mary - glad you are enjoyeing WDW - Christmas is so beautiful there.

Sam and I had dinner with friends from many years ago. It was nice to see them (1st time in 2 years).

:tinker:Good morning cruisers :tinker:

Happy Thursday!

Well I should be still asleep, but my internal alarm clock woke me up. So I thought I would post, read the boards some and then maybe head back to bed. We've got another late night planned as we are doing MVMCP tonight.

Have a great day everyone!

Stacey- that is too funny about the driving part as that is exactly what I asked Mark. Was he going to want to just drive around and not go to the parks. :lmao: We do have some driving to so especially on Saturday so hopefully we'll get to enjoy it more then.

I love the smilies - especially the hula bear!

Good Morning Everyone!

Take a moment today to remember WWII veterans - today's the anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor...

No gun... just a good sharp pocket knife. The guys at work (remember, I work with all men...and all rednecks, besides) always gave me a hard time because I was the only one in the place that didn't carry a knife. Every time I'd go to open a package or do something that required a sharp object (besides my mind, of course), they'd ask me where MY knife was. So, a few months ago, as a thank-you for a sponsorship that I did with a hunting organization, they sent me a really cool pocket knife... which ALL the guys wanted.... NOPE... this is MY knife... they sent it TO ME. So now it goes everywhere... except the airport.

:rotfl2: Not according to Mike and his friend. I drove the boys to school early yesterday...Think clown car with two 12 year old boys, overloaded backpacks, a trombone and a trumpet. They were begging for the top down (40 degrees brrr...) their solution - turn up the heat full blast and turn on the seat warmers...NOT!!!!

:Pinkbounc Woo Hoo!!! A top with Karen, convertible beetles, 12 year old boys and all their gear!!! :Pinkbounc

I carry a knife, too. I have for a long time... well, ever since I was allowed to use one again. After everyone sort of forgot about the time I stabbed my brother. :guilty:
I've taken my gun classes, now I just need to convince Jay to buy me a gun. He's afraid that if I do get one, I'll "accidentally" shoot him!
:confused3

Mary....do you hear Twilight Zone music?? Again?? ;)

Up before the crack of dawn today. Long day. Therapy for the hand at 8:00, HAIRCUT at 9:30 and the hand doc at 1:00.

Yep...cutting off the hair....I'm sick of it.
