I got a little mad. I told her that they were all adults now and to figure it out for themselves. She knows that if she needs money, she can come and get it from me, but I told her I'm not going anywhere.

Sharon and I are home back from South Florida. The house is still standing. Both children are alive and cooking dinner.

Ran a marathon this morning and the heat was bad. 85 degrees is not something you want to run in, but I finished with 2 of my group.

Great weekend because we got a mini-DIS meet in. I'll post more details tomorrow.

Mary, are you snowed in? Our paper this morning claimed that Chicago is a mess.

I am done with Nutcracker on the Rocks! Alicia is dancing right about now, and Kevin is watching her. He gets to stay until tear down is done, but I was done at 2 pm today. Nice to have my life back, now I can think about our trip on the 14th.

Those of you that saw the ventriloquist show on the May cruise will remember that Alicia was the "I like Orange" girl. I was thinking about that today. One of the numbers that Alicia is in is called "The 60s". It's two dances in a row to Janis Joplin tunes "Get it While You Can" and "Come On", and Alicia is wearing an orange flowered jumpsuit. Great numbers, and she's still the Orange girl!

We are cold but the city is in great shape. Friday morning was very very bad but by afternoon all the streets were plowed. We had 3 different families come in from Michigan on Friday and had no problems.

sorry to barge in guys, but I was just wondering if any of you were having any luck getting your hands on a nintendo wii system??? I didnt even know these knew game systems were coming out until I saw people sleeping outside of the dang Target the night before! LOL Then my CJ tells me that he would like to have one....

Dale got one the first day. He had preordered through Electronics Boutique, so he was guaranteed one. The only pre-sold what they knew they were getting, so it worked out good. Have had a hard time finding accessories though to give him for Christmas. He paid for the Wii with his own money. It is a lot of fun. We have even enjoyed playing with it. Good luck finding one.

Hi all, just got all caught up on. Things have been pretty busy and I haven't been able to read this week. Charley and I celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary on the 28th, and we took the kids out for Mexican Food after Ashley got out of swim practice. Then, I had a really late night at work on the 29th, tried to catch up on rest on the 30th. Charley went in for his sleep evaluation on Friday night and now we have worked on the house all weekend trying to get ready for Christmas. Ashley has a big swim meet the weekend before Christmas, so I only have 1 more weekend to get ready. (yuck, that is really scary).

Stacey -- what fantastic news about Gary and Vicki. I am sure you all will have fun.

On a whim this week, I booked our two free Southwest tickets to Orlando and bought 2 tickets for the week of Spring Break. We are now rethinking that. We really need to not go back to WDW for a while. If Ashley makes the State Swim Championships, we can spend time in Texas and knock out some College Visits for Dale that week. We really need to start concentrating on where he will decide on for School.
Oh, well. That is the good thing about Southwest, we can cancel and rebook for just about anything we want. We will just have to wait and see.

WOW... its been more than 12 hours since they announced the BCS pairing, and not a word about it from anyone here... what a surprise!!!!! (Although OM is in WDW right now...I hope she's wearing head to toe OSU garb!!!!)

Not an OSU fan, but, I'll root for them 100% cause there's no way in he**(... or in FL...) that I'd EVER cheer on that OTHER team that got in by sheer luck.

Off to the funeral for my friend who was shot last week... someone post something FUNNY while I'm gone... I'll need it when I get back.

I had an e-mail while I was posting the above message. The Mission Impossible has been completed! I am now totally convinced that this woman is an angel from Heaven.

Just to fill in the blanks a little.....we were trying to get Garry and Vicki and family on this upcoming Christmas cruise with us. Garry is at a point where it would be "safe" for him to travel.....and would do him a world of good.
Several of us, including the TA, had been trying to get them a cabin on the SOLD OUT ship.
Ann worked and worked and worked.......and the e-mail that I got just now told me that she got them a room!!!!

How wonderful, and no fair making me cry on on Monday Morning...
