Ssshhhh...this is supposed to be secret......

I met the most fabulous person. Her name is Ann, and she owns a travel agency. If anyone ever, ever, needs a TA...this person is totally fantastic! She has already been working on something that seemed to be totally impossible, and has already gone so far above and beyond that I am amazed.
And.....I had booked three rooms pre-cruise in New Orleans for this month, she re-booked them for me, and saved me......get this......hold on to your hats......are you sitting down??.......... $313.68!!! That will cover our shore excursions and then some!!!

I had an e-mail while I was posting the above message. The Mission Impossible has been completed! I am now totally convinced that this woman is an angel from Heaven.

Just to fill in the blanks a little.....we were trying to get Garry and Vicki and family on this upcoming Christmas cruise with us. Garry is at a point where it would be "safe" for him to travel.....and would do him a world of good.
Several of us, including the TA, had been trying to get them a cabin on the SOLD OUT ship.
Ann worked and worked and worked.......and the e-mail that I got just now told me that she got them a room!!!!

For Virgil, I SERIOUSLY looked at the Apple, but similar system, it would have been over $1000 more...... Wow! I do like their stuff though, maybe next upgrade.

Depends on the configuration - but I know that a comparable Mac system - can't rely on Ghz to compare - would have been really close to the same price....

Aperature on the Mac is awesome for post production photo work...

Jim, Kevin hasn't said a word about buying Alicia a present. He usually comes up with something great, but yeah, I think his new computer might be her present. "The better to take pictures of you, my dear". Good thing Mom has already been shopping.

Funny story, Kevin and I sent each other our Amazon Wish Lists this year. Did you know that when you go back in, you can see what has been purchased on your Wish List? And then, I opened his box. Thought it was one of the gifts I bought for HIM. Guess it wasn't a great idea if you like surprises.

Jay asked me the other day what I wanted for Christmas. I told him I didn't know, but I'd think about it. So I asked him what he wanted, and he said "Nothing". It dawned on me that he was probably hoping that I'd say the same thing!! NOT.

Just finished watching the Army/Navy game. I love watching this game with the tradition, pomp and rivalry. It gives me goosebumps to see the pregame formations.

Maggie had a successful first performance. John said the senior center residents loved it.

Aww, tell her thanks- she's sweet.
None of us really looked our best on the cruise- but hey, that's not what we're there for. LOL They were absolutely adorable for sure in the formal pictures though. Dinner and playtime during the day- not so much. We all didn't care what we looked like then. We were in relax mode. LOL

Hmm, maybe my ears were burning. I suddenly had the desire to check this board. Maybe if I try just checking my previous posts by clicking my username I can find my previous last post and read from there? I'll try that...

No fair. How come the search function works for you and doesn't for me? Seriously.I searched on my username and it showed posts from 2003 up until June 2006 and nothing after that. So weird.
I can, however, click on my name and see last posts and find it that way. Is that how you found it? Thanks!

Happy Sunday!

Had a great lunch with some FL and MI DIS friends! Always wonderful to see your cruise buddies again. We were talking about the 2008 cruise and while some would like to go their schools don't get out until a little later in June. Hopefully when DCL comes out with thier announcement we can find a date that works for everyone!

I've already had about as much fun as I can stand for one day, and it's not yet 10:30 a.m.

Megan called. Her roommate borrowed her car this morning and got stopped by the cops. They thought he stole the car. When Megan's old car was totalled after her accident last winter, she bought the new (used) car, but put her old plates on it! She's been driving all this time with the wrong plates! So now Trevin is in jail, they don't have money for bail........and I'm going to run away.
How have I managed to live my entire life without all the drama that my one child seems to constantly attract????
