4.33 years is WAY too long between visits!

We're getting closer...two more days!!!

Today's pretend ADRing yield mixed results...mostly good but a stumper or two.

I was able to get 31 at the exact or a workable time, 1 (which I still have listed as a back up even though I an pretty sure it will be regular rotation when it comes right down to it) that will not work, nothing available at Mama Melrose (Fantasmic or otherwise), Hollywood & Vine, Hacienda, Cinderella's, The Plaza, or Be Our Guest and when I tried for something at Brown Derby I got an odd message simply saying there are "NO TIMES AVAILABLE"...and it did not provide operating hours at all...so it wasn't just a regular "we're all booked up" message...maybe something going on there that day?

I think the day I am checking on is a party day which I think explains the lack of availability at The Plaza, which is usually to get.

La Hacienda...I am hoping has a reason...I have not had any problem getting that up until now.

All in all, while I will probably continue this for the next two days cause it's fun (in an odd kind of way I'm sure most of you understand!) but I think I am pretty set going into 5am on Sunday. I think I am as prepared to get what I want as I can be and I think I know what I want to do if I cannot get what I want. The few times I was able to get an ADR at Cindy's or LeCellier give me hope that when I am able to book I will be successful. The only two I am really thinking I might not get at Be Our Guest and Hollywood & Vine...one would be sad but the other would just be an adjustment. And of course, I'd keep looking!

I am slightly concerned about availability at Epcot because of the Candlelight Processional but I am hoping it all works out. I'd love the see it but I am not willing to pay 2 credits for a one credit meal to get the seats...so I am not in the market for a CP package. I hope I am able to get the Epcot venues on Sunday. They have been iffy here and there.

WOW...getting close to ADR day which is closer to the most busy time of the year and getting easier???

No refreshing today...not once! Pretty quick process actually.

I was able to get 34 at the places I wanted at the times I wanted or within a workable time frame (including Le Cellier and Cinderella's), two I would have to rearrange a little for (Brown Derby and Akershus), and only Mama Melrose, Hollywood & Vine, and Be Our Guest not at all.

So one more day of pretend ADRing. Skyler is excited about getting up and doing ADRs with me at 5am Sunday morning but we'll see how excited she is when we actually get to 5am Sunday morning (she has started sleeping like a teenager lately...not wanting to get up!).

I'll play again tomorrow before I plan out my strategy for the order of importance when online on Sunday...one last make believe assignment before the real deal...then it will feel a whole lot more real!!!

We were unable to book Mama Melrose or Brown Derby as just an ADR or as a Fantasmic Package. I think something is up with them though because, come on...I got Cinderella's, Be Our Guest, LeCellier and Hollywood & Vine...so why not Mama Melrose and Brown Derby? So I will keep watching for either to open up...preferably Mama Melrose. We stuck Beaches & Cream in there just in case though because we are already going to all the other table service venues at Hollywood Studios and it's within walking distance.

The only one we had to really change times from what we wanted was California Grill on our first day...but I think this one will actually work out better anyway for the possibility of getting a good table with a window view over Magic Kingdom for the last Christmas Party's fireworks show. We were not really planning a whole evening at Magic Kingdom either...we were really just needed to get there for the 3pm Festival of Fantasy because it is the last time it is showing while we are there...it changes to the Christmas Parade for the rest of our days.

Skyler is most happy about Be Our Guest...I am happy about them all...all our research paid off. I don't think we will have any problems with the rest of our days...our requests for them are relatively tame.

This morning when I got to work I was able to do the 12th day.

Tuesday 12-29-15 (Tyler's Birthday)
Grand Floridian Café wanted 7am and got 7am
Restaurant Marrakesh wanted 1pm and got 1pm
Yachtsman Steakhouse wanted 8pm and got 8pm

Still nothing open for Mama Melrose (Fantasmic or regular). That's really the ONLY problem I have had and I do not anticipate any other problems with my future days either...I am so excited! Now I need to wait 178 more days...I know thqat does not match up but I am counting from the day we start on our driving journey which is the day before we arrive...!!!!!

Just cancelles Sci-Fi Dine in for lunch on Christmas Eve because I was able to get a Brown Derby Fantasmic Package for that time frame. I did not really want to do a Fantasmic Package there because Skye will have to order as an adult and it's 2 credits but Mama Melrose is not opening up yet. So I will still be looking for Mama Melrose on the 19th or 24th for lunch for a Fantasmic Package...actually at all...hey, maybe I can drop the Fantasmic part and just do Brown Derby because then I don't have to have Skye order as an adult. But then I have to use a fast pass plus for Fantasmic...and of course, Mama Melrose is preferable.

I was playing with my My Disney Experience just now and saw that I not only was able to get an ADR for Cinderella's Royal Table at 8:05pm on December 26th but I also have one at 8:10pm. Every other time (three to be exact) that I have checked for a different venue than I already had an ADR made for the system prompted me to cancel the previous ADR. I did not think it would allow two ADRs at the same time. BUT, I do remember that we have Cindy's up and waiting on that last step for Woody to complete our ADR and then it said that slot was no longer available so we did it again (upset that now we were thinking we missed out because Woody took too long with his paperwork!) only to be offered a table 5 minutes later that the first one we were trying to book. I never actually got to the confirmation number for the first time.

SO, I guess I am not worried that if I cancel the one I don't want (they are within 5 minutes of each other so I don't really think I care too much which one) it will mistakenly cancel them both...since I hadn't known I had two in the first place.

Has this happened to anyone before? Were you able to just cancel online and have no problems with keeping the other one? I have no interest in hoarding both of them, I am ecstatic I got one!

Ok...so...today's ADRs did not go as well.

Thursday 12-31-15 New Years Eve

Rose & Crown wanted La Hacienda de San Angel at 7:00pm but got R&C at 6:40pm

I am not happy with R&C. We have eaten there and it was good but nothing spectacular and I don't find that the food we choose there is the best option on the dining plan. I really want La Hacienda but it only showed options until 6pm and then it had no availability. I am betting that is because of the Candlelight Processional. And that makes me a bit perturbed...I do not want a CP package and yet I can't get a table because they haven't opened them because of the CP packages! And I have to believe with how crowded everyone is saying Epcot is on New Years Eve, I am going to need to watch for ADRs to open all the time!

Does anyone know...does Disney release tables/ADRs throughout the day or is it like airlines who only release at one time? Is there a better time to be checking or just check back all day long?

And I just picked up San Angel Inn for NY Eve at 7:30pm....because I cannot decide which I prefer...San Angel Inn is preferable to us for some things and Rose & Crown would be preferable for other things. I am so undecided. And just for the record, I do not like with people do this but now I understand!

I am really hoping to get a Hacienda ADR when they are released. When I was just looking I looked for Epcot,dinner, for 5 people and I could still get Cinderella's, Be Our Guest, Fantasmic Package at Brown Derby, and Mama Melrose without a package (although Mama Melrose is still not available at all for the 19th or the 24th!) but not Hacienda (which I've never had a problem booking) and some other Epcot venues...and this should be early so I highly doubt they are full already!

Just a thought. Go to opentable.com and see if you can get a ressie thru them. Sometimes disney doesn't release all their tables to just disney reservations. Hope that helps.

Unless I don't know who to use that site, I don't even find La Hacienda on there.

I think it has not been released yet though because of the way it came up...at least I am hoping that!

So I'm looking for a Mama Melrose with ot without Fantasmic package preferable for the 19th but would change my Brown Derby on the 24th if I had to and La Hacienda in the 31st...just keep looking, just keep looking, what do we do, we look, look, look....

So I booked a La Hacienda for 12-25-05 (and I never actually was given the confirmation number screen but then saw it in my list) and the system is showing openings for LeCellier on 12-31-15 but lets me get all the way until Woody is making my ADR and tells me it cannot do it.

This would be a fine change to me.

I guess that is probably good news though because it must mean they are tweeking the system and hopefully I can book Either LeCellier or Hacienda for NY Eve soon!

Can't get a later Hacienda for the night before and still no Mama Melrose...but I will keep trying.

Hacienda is only booking until 6:05pm now. Hoping they open later seatings...especially dince lunch that day is at noon...I'd like a bit more time in between.

I want Mama Melrose for the 19th for lunch to replace Beaches & Cream, which believe it or not I am not too crazy about going to...so in the end either way, I may find something else to fill that spot with.

So now while the biggest hurdle is technically over, we still have minor dining plans to lock down and now it will be on to Fast Pass +...which I have no clue about!
