4.33 years is WAY too long between visits!

My thoughts are that is WAY too much food at Via Napoli. There is no need for OOP food for that meal. I would probably even just use 3 credits and all split.

Me too but I have heard they will not allow that there...believe me, we will try! Especially with Skyler...she does not need to order anything extra...that was just a pacifier for the restaurant. If they will let us get away with only using three credits, we certainly will. If we were paying out of pocket completely, we would probably order much less but with the dining plan we may be stuck. Luckily pizza is good cold and reheated so if worse comes to worse, we'll take it with us and eat it later...pizza is one of the kids' main food groups I think!

I think it's kinda stinky that they force people to not share...

I have also thought about paying out of pocket for Via Napoli and saving the 4 credits for another meal...that still may be an option but then my options for an extra meal dwindle down to breakfast...which all in all does not sound bad but I'm still in negotiations in my head about it...LOL

We could go a Mezzo Metro Pepperoni Pizza and three drinks and get buy with just over the amount of money we would be paying out of pocket with the dining plan if not allowed to share....hhhmmm...something to think about...

I don't know how they put it out there but I have read many trip reports and info on the dining boards that say that Via Napoli is the only place people have consistently been told that on the dining plan everyone needs to use a credit or pay for their meal. Must be to force bigger reimbursement and tips...somehow they are doing it. I don't think I have ever heard talk of anyone being allowed to share while on the dining plan.

I guess I have time to figure it out...maybe, if I can ever get the web site to work, I will book another breakfast or lunch (although the places to put it are slim) and then if they allow us to share, we will otherwise we will pay out of pocket...

Some good news!!!

At work we are being mandated 8 hours OT per week...and are allowed to get as much as we are able to give! We NEVER, EVER are even allowed a minute OT, and more often that not we are "low censused" and have to take off 8 hours...so this is great!

I am hoping to treat this as a very decent paying part time job and work my butt off for the next 6 weeks to bank some extra Disney cash!!!

Real Life GOOD NEWS!!!!

TYLER GOT A JOB!!!!!!​

He goes to orientation on July 22nd. He will be working at Little Cesar's with his best friend (who has spent almost every night at our house since school got out). It is about a block from school so once school starts and football season is over he can walk right there if needed.

Now just hoping they don't give him a hard time about vacation. It's been planned for a very long time. They seem very good at working around schedules. Key has worked there for 8 months and he is in honors/AP classes and on the Football team and wrestling team at school and they seem to work around his schedule quite well...so the outlook is good.

And hey, if worse comes to worse, he'll have to find a new job after vacation...but I don't think that will happen.

I really should stop looking at Southwest's web site!

If we could do a three week one day trip I could get us all flights for $595.00 there and back!!! And for 8 extra days it would only cost about $2300.00 more for room and food (CS cheapo for sure!)!!!

But I really don't want to take the kids out of school for that time and Cary and I really cannot take another week off...I'm kinda surprised his work has never even questioned it...and yes, they were made well aware of it when he was hired as a tech, when he was promoted to management, and when his new owners took over and it's ok with everyone.

Dreaming is fun but not gonna happen this time! Plus I am hoping to sneak a couple of at least long weekends in throughout our AP year...kinda hoping for an adult only food and wine trip but Skye is not having that yet!
