...............................

I have a cubicle, only the Executives in my workplace have offices.

Which is really ridiculous, since I work in HR and interview people all day long. Most of the work I deal with is highly confidential and sensitive, so everything has to be locked up when I leave at night. Such a pain. We have a common office that is shared between three recruiters in which to conduct interviews.

An office that I share w/4 parttimers (usually 1 at a time) There is an office behind the circ desk that I work out of. The parttimers are usually on the desk. I have the fridge and shelves for their personal items in my office. And of course the office is decorated in Mickey/Disney/DVC !!

I have an office. Used have a cube and I really can appreciate having a door now.

Sometimes with the way I have to deal with our vendors, I think I should probably have sound proof walls too

I live in Cube Hell. My "doorway" opens into a main traffic hall - major pain in the rear. I can hear everyone's conversations in their offices, and down the hallway. Drives me bananas. Everyone can see me and what I'm doing (does that stop me from DISing - NO!) - and I'm sort of a private person so this really bugs me. I hate being in a cube - please someone rescue me!

I've never had a cubicle. I have an office right now with everyone having access to it (if 1 more thing comes up missing off my desk, I'm gonna set up a sting, I do believe!).

I have a way too big office which I have to decorate!! I love the privacy but find it a bit daunting. :p

Oh what I wouldn't give for a door!

I'm in a cube and surrounded by noise. Let's see the person across from me talks to herself all day. The person next to me sings to herself. And everyone else just talks too darn loud!!!!

Yet the "American Idol Wannabee" sitting next to me had the nerve to ask me to stop playing with a slinky I have on my desk because the noise "drives her crazy". Hello? Everything about you drives me crazy!!!

ok - I'm done now, so sorry. I didn't mean to get so worked up. :)

Back to life in the cubicle.

I have a nice closed door office. I've been in cubes, had to actual share a desk and phone with a co-worker (I sat on one side, he sat on the other).

In my first job, I an office in a former janitor's room. I had to climb over the desk every morning to get behind it from the hall. My files were kept in the old sink. Everytime I wanted to get out I had to climb back over.

After that, everything else is a step up :)

I have my own office. I don't think I could survive in a cubicle. I love being able to go into my office and close the door and pretend I'm not there! Life on a university campus is good. I've never worked in a cubicle, but I don't really think I would like it at all. I also love having my own couch and little fridge in my office!

I have a rather interesting corner cubicle with windows. It's sort of a morph between a cubicle and an office.

I have an office with windows, and I don't think I want to give it up. :) My office overlooks a metro station.
