so yesterday I priced out a trip to Disney in December just to go to MVMCP I need my head examined. It would be me and 3 kids. I even priced airfare.

I definately need my head examined. It isn't happening because I just cant see flying by myself with J and Sami.

Today I need to finish a Minnie Top for Sami.

Oh and I have been browsing e-bay and craigslist for deals on machines. I did find an older singer on craigs list we will see if I get a message back.

Today my baby girl (yes even though she is my oldest, I consider her my baby girl) like she says she is the original.is 12 years old. this child is a blessing.

so yesterday was a bit drama filled because we didn't get DD what she wanted for her birthday but bought her the entire set of Disney collector dolls she said she liked.

The situation has been resolved and she is much happier and now knows she needs to spell out what she wants.

She was embarrassed to ask for something, who knows but it is over and I am over it. I am sure this is just a preview of what is to come.

Today we are going to the outback for dinner and I offered a trip to the bookstore for her, which she was happy with.

I am going to be working on the Disney quilt blocks and I want to also work on a couple onsies for Sami but we shall see.

First up is taking J to the ENT by myself this ought to be fun.

I can only IMAGINE how much fun you would have flying to Disney.....just you and the three littles!

I flew to Germany, when my older three were 7, almost 3 and 18 months! It was NOT fun! Interesting, yes, fun, no! (being a military family you learn to do those things no matter how un-smart they are!)

But I have driven cross country by myself with them about that age with no problems.


You could come while I am there and I could steal...er I mean help take care of Miss Sami while you are there!

I am sorry that Miss C's birthday didn't go exactly as planned, but I am happy it's resolved. As moms, they give us eyes in the back of our heads, but we can't always read minds. It does sound like she had a nice birthday though.

Dinner sounds great - we love Outback! Although, every time we go - they are closed... It's weird.

I hope the ENT went well today...

thank you the ENT went great. We don't have to go back unless there is a problem. His last tube has moved into the ear canal and will fall out on its own.

So we are a 111 days from our first trip. We have dining reservations for our 2.5 days

2/17 Dinner at Biergarten
2/18 Dinner at Be Our Guest
2/19 at the Rose and Crown

We are staying at the Boardwalk if you remember. I need to pay our cruise portion off but am waiting until I get one more Gift Card we are expecting and our rewards card and then we will be using our Disney Visa for the balance. I just need to pay before our 90 day mark because I want to be able to schedule Babysitting and other things before then.

I also need figure out customs. C said no customs but I need to ask about pirate night. I am not fighting her on this.

I think J only needs a shirt or two

Now Sami on the other hand most likely needs everything and I am going to try and reuse the petti skirts I have and maybe a dress or two.

So I will leave you with a picture of a shirt I made Sami.



I am going to try and cut out a few more and I decided I am going to make a couple for her to wear in December.

I totally understand about not forcing the teens to wear customs... Such a sad day, but at least you have Sami and J to shower with customs for quite some time yet.

Well she said only for this trip and I am okay with it and she will be carrying one of your bags

Well J is stuck with customs since he can't tell me he doesn't want to wear him. Yep I am a mean mommy.

So this morning I started working before I got J up. I am working on the quilt blocks and I only have 2 more to go YEAH.

Yesterday we went to carve pumpkins and it was fun. For some reason I have no pictures of the actual pumpkins or the whole process but I do have these pictures of J and Sami. J is funny you pick up the camera and he plops down right in front of you.

I didn't get a chance to say yesterday how much I loved the pics, especially the one of J in front of Sami! Reminds me of pics of David with Rachel, we had the same bouncer.

J is a riot with pictures I will have to try to post yesterday's pictures later. We don't do trick or treating because it is really hard with J but we will do next year with J and Sami by my Moms house. I already told DH. Sami deserves it, C actually prefers giving out candy over trick or treating.

I have discovered I can use the camera as a reward for J and it is a great tool to have in my arsenal.
