2014 Candlelight Processional Reservation

It doesn't look like 2014 prices are published yet. From the posts above, prices seem to be the same or within $5 of last year:

I have regular ADRs for Via Napoli - 12/17 @ 4:30pm. We planned on getting in line for the 6:15pm show when we are finished dining. (I know we won't be in the front/middle of the line, but we like being in the back of the theater. If we don't get in, we'll skip it or do the 8:15pm show)
Now, I'm considering the CP package and am desperately trying to figure out our "net cost". Some questions:

We can use the Tables in Wonderland card for our current reservation. Does it apply to the CP package?

Is it a limited menu for the CP package? (we pretty much know our favorite items at Via Napoli's and I want to estimate our dinner cost vs. the CP package cost) Can I find out what it is?

What is the price for lunch/dinner at Via Napoli (for 12/17/14)? When I try to book, all that is available is 3:30pm and since it conflicts with our current ADR, I would have to cancel it. I don't want to do that, just to check the price!

Can I call and "add" the CP package to our current reservation? Even though 4:30pm would be for the 8:15pm show.

We've seen CP many many times and really enjoy it. However, we've never done the package - but we're usually at WDW slightly earlier in December. If the package is only slightly more than our dinner would normally be, then I'll do the package. If not, we'll stick with doing "stand by" for the performance. I can't believe it's so hard to find out the price and menu before booking.

I was told that TIW does NOT APPLY..

Also, what you can do is put in a specific date, time, number of people and scroll down to the CP Package...It will list different restaurants that are available for that date and time..

Last year Via Napoli was $56.44 for adult.. I was told by Dining that Chef de France adult price for CP Dinner Package was $79.87 including tax, $5.33 over 2013 price of $74.54. I would figure as an estimate that Via Napoli price for '14 is also about $5 extra.

Nice thing is payment is not expected at time of reservation, only credit card guarantee of $10 per person for cancellation, 48 hours in advance...
24 hours is for most dining, but the CM told me for this package, 48 hours in advance..

I was told that the CP Price included soft drink, entrée, appetizer, and dessert..
Was I misinformed but I was told that you could order ANYTHING off the menu, that it would not be a SPECIAL menu...?????:confused3

Has there been any definite word yet on the ADR windows for each show? I found the information from last year but I know things change. That info indicates that my current ADR time means we'll get in to the 6:45 show. But I was thinking about adjusting it a little and need to know if that will change our show time. I would also love to know the prices for this year. We've got free dining but I'm trying to crunch the numbers and figure out if it's worth it to use 2 of our dining credits for this or if it would make more sense to pay OOP.

Understandable, however, even if you were to cancel it, the CDLPDP (is that even the acronym!? :rotfl:) isn't an upfront payment, so no price is given on booking. It follows the same agreements as a normal dining package where you are charged if you do not show up (though it might be full charges vs. $10/person). I'm hoping that last year's pricing still stands, but who knows.. probably as a PP said, it'll go up a bit.

But is just seems so odd to me to commit to buying something without knowing the cost upfront.

Can anyone tell me what show I would get seating for with the CLPDP and a 645pm reservation at Garden Grill?

Disney Dining told me on Tuesday morning, that all seatings for the 8:15 show must be between 5 and 6PM..

As far as price, when I booked Les Chef de France, I was quoted $79.87 per person, dinner price, which is $5.33 increase over 2013 dinner price of $74.54.
There are different lunch prices and different dinner prices.

CALL Disney Dining.. They MUST have the prices released by now!:)

Additionally, I was told by Disney Dining that parties of six or more, like any other restaurant venue, a gratuity of 18% will be automatically added to the bill...

The price includes tax, but not tip!

ENJOY the show!:goodvibes CAN'T WAIT!:thumbsup2

If you call to make the reservation, they'll tell you the price when you book it. Since it's a fixed-price meal, it does make sense to know up front, but they don't normally quote prices on the website for regular restaurant reservations.

Last yr it listed all the prices for all the different restaurants participating, the lunch and dinner times that you must eat for each show, and the prices...

Even though I booked on Tuesday, it is STRANGE that Disney hasn't posted this information in advance to make it more "guest friendly" as well as
easier on the Dining CM's!

I haven't "surfed" and "poked around" this morning, so if anyone sees any updated info, please inform!

Can't wait for them to "fill in the gaps" for all the narrators!:thumbsup2:cool1:

Can't wait for CPDP in December!:dance3: What a way to GET IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT!:santa:

6:45 is too late to be a package ADR.

Interesting ...that is a time that was offered when I specifically searched under the Candlelight Processional Dinner packages. I am glad I asked, because I would be very unhappy to not get what I thought i signed up for on the website.

I'll change that to say that in the past the latest CP ADR has been around 5:45-6. But with all the changes this year perhaps the times are different as well.

I saw some strange things on the website when I was booking. Many restaurants listed "No Times Available," but with the "Reserve a table now" and a time listed immediately below. I wonder if there were some times shown that were just restaurant reservations and not Candlelight Processional packages.

LOL I'm getting antsy too! I wanna know who those celeb narrators are for my reservations! I did some digging into last year's thread and last year, it was this week in July that added so much needed clarity to who we were going to get.

At worst, by the end of August, we should have them all, I believe. I think the last holdout was a late Dec. date for Steven Curtis Chapman.

It's hard though, because while I would love to settle my reservations and cancel the ones I don't need, as was reminded in last year's thread, no one should get too comfortable with these announcements, because substitutions often happen over the next few months. People say by November we should be safe with who we have though.

I mean, I am one of those people that doesn't just wanna see any celeb narrator, to be honest, I mean, maybe I love or am interested in say, half of who Disney gets for the month, then it's about trying to coordinate my plans so I at least get 1 show with someone I like.

I know; I've got 3 booked for the Nov. 30th, Dec 1st and Dec 4th shows. I'm hoping for Neil Patrick Harris. Unless they get someone really interesting in I'll be cancelling them all, lol.

I am in the same boat. I have one booked for the 4th as well. I have seen the show several times with several different narrators. If I already saw the person or if I have no desire to see them, I am cancelling.
