I should -finally- add myself here. I've been lurking for a couple of months since I booked in a stay for 2-12 December :-D my first time at BCV. It's just me traveling, and as much as I would love a washer / dryer and spa in the room, I couldn't justify the extra cost of a 1 bedroom, so booked a studio.
Anyway, the reason I'm posting now is that I've read so many posts of people dealing with crazy winter weather and all pining for summer...well, on the opposite side of the world (Australia) we're having the opposite problem. Heatwave after heatwave. We had a week of almost 45 degrees Celsius everyday about a month ago, and have had very few days of it much lower than 35, and I live in one of the cooler parts of the country. We also just had another round of serious bushfires over this last weekend (only properties lost, thankfully). So yeah...for those looking forward to summer, hang in there because the next one is probably going to be a scorcher!

if you want to see some more crazy weather (that's also Disney related) check out the Tokyo part of the boards. Someone has posted a stack of amazing photos of the resorts covered in snow.
Back to the subject of BC, I'm sure I'll have some questions later on (probably just about the laundry situation and room locations). I'm trying not to get too far ahead of myself, the trip is still a long way away lol but I had thought it might be fun to bring some Aussie treats for the staff (Tim Tams? Caramello koalas?) would it be ok to do that?
