VWL Groupies & Lovers Thread (Special Collectors Edition 2.5) updated 2 February 2025

Has anyone received an invitation to preview Zootopia: Better Zoogether yet? We’re going to be there before the November 7 opening date, and hope to have the opportunity to preview it! :goodvibes

Smashingly! Thanks for asking!

We held a pre-show event for Beth--light finger food and drinks. It was well-attended, and for the actual performance, the house was packed. Now, in this small space, 40-50 patrons is a good number. . .we had 80+. Best of all, the actors nailed it. I was so thrilled for them. Not only did they get to meet Beth, but I also arranged for them to be on stage with Beth after the show for a Q & A session from the audience. After, she autographed all their scripts and complimented each one. She spent a few to several minutes with each cast member throughout the course of the evening. She is a sweetheart. Beth appreciated everything; the cast was elated; and the audience was thoroughly entertained and provided a rousing standing ovation. Couldn't have asked for a better night.

My favorite part was watching the actors perform, bring to life the words written by a woman sitting 15 feet from the stage. I beamed from ear to ear--they had worked their tails off, and there they were, shining in the biggest moments imaginable. Simply thrilled for them.
This is awesome, Sleepy! If I would have been amongst the actors and performing in front of the author, my nerves would have wrecked me:teeth:

See!?? Yes, I referenced this map and thr TP one. 3507 is definitely a dedicated two bed unit. Im convinced they remodeled it during the refurb.
The BRV refurb concluded in 2023, so if you stayed in 2024, the rooms were completed 1.5 years before. So it couldn't have happened after. Copper Creek was just under refurb this year, but not BRV. Not saying you aren't correct about the room type, just that if it happened, it was done in 2022/23.

Hiya Groupies!
Doing the 9 day dance here!:cool1:
We are staying at BCV in a 2BR, and I was wondering if anyone knows how large the closet in the 2nd bedroom is? I never paid attention to this prior to having grands, but they like to put one of the cribs or pack and plays inside if possible. When we stayed at the VWL a 2 years ago their closet was GINORMOUS!

I’ve never stayed in one, but I’ve read that they are smaller than the VWL. I bet you could find a YouTube review of a 2 BR, if no one answers here.

Ah, it looks like I am a day late in providing any feedback on this. But FWIW, my recall is that the closet for the second BR at VWL is only large if the room is a dedicated 2BR. For lock-off 2BR villas there, the entry hallway for the second bedroom takes up much of the space that the walk in closet provided in the dedicated unit.

I hope your BCV trip is a magical one! :)

Happy Halloween to All! I hope someone was able to pick up my WL/BRV December reservation - I had to cancel - I found out I need my right shoulder replaced and ortho doc anticipates my surgery will be schedule mid Nov to early Dec…it’s a bummer but I’m looking forward to having it fixed and being 100% recovered in time take my daughter, 2 Grandgals and SIL to WDW in April.

Thanks Granny! Our stay was absolutely magical! Just returned on Wednesday. We had glorious weather the entire time, and watching our 3 year old grandson’s face when meeting Woody was priceless!

Our 20 month old granddaughter only cried during one character interaction (at Cape May) so that was a win! Cannot wait to bring them back! :goodvibes

So glad you had a magical stay! We took our granddaughter at 3 and then last year at 5. For pure magic, 3 was the best! Her face lit up when she met Minnie and Mickey on our first day and I think she believed she was meeting the real characters. She never questioned how they could be at every park/restaurant we went to, she just was totally into the wonder of it all. At 5, she knew there was someone in the costume, but she still had great interactions with them. She drew pictures for every 100 Acre Wood character and asked the princesses questions and had very interesting conversations with them. It was still magical, but I think 3 is the best age for a first trip. I still love looking at those pictures and seeing her face. She keeps asking when we will go back, and I feel bad telling her not for a while, but we really do need a long time to save up! Also, we love going in November!!

Now that we are back home, I am experiencing NON buyers remorse! My dil forgot to buy a 2025 ornament she wanted, and of course they do not have it online.

I miss the days when you could find so much more parks merch on the Disney website. Of course there are online retailers but they price gouge on both the item and on shipping! :sad2:
