Thanks scottmc! Wonder what dictates only YC/BC as opposed to s/d, BWI, YC/BC? Maybe how busy the resorts and parks are? Hmmmm....
Either way, have to take the bus, was just wondering the route. Thanks!

During off hours they tend to run less busses so the only time I ran into a bus sharing with S/D and BWI was if I went to MK at 1 PM. Or came back from MK at 10AM after a character breakfast. And I was the only person on the bus both times.

Last question Cupmom, do you remember if either room you had had a daybed or a chair? All this and we probably won't get the rooms anyhow but we are going to try to request them. Thanks again.

Both had daybeds and I pretty sure a chair as well and the rooms were connecting. Hope this helps...good luck

Hello all! For buses to AK, are YC and BC sharing the bus? If so, who gets picked up first? Also, any other stops along the way other than AK? Thanks !

Just wants to add that the bus to AK will stop at Bizzard beach waterparks on way there and back.

The only time I have seen a shared bus between all Epcot resorts was back from Downtown Disney a few years back. And like Teena mentioned maybe once at an off time back from one of the parks. Would have been Labor Day weekend and less crowded. Have only shared with YC/BC during busier summer and Christmas.

Need to make a change to our stay at YC. We will be staying at Boardwalk Villas from Nov 14-21 (my search came through- was hoping for Beach Club Villas).

We will now be staying at YC CL water view Nov 21-23.

How do I get my luggage from one side of Crescent Lake to the other? I can see us walking from one side to the other with our luggage- hahaha

Ok-another transportation question: one evening of our YC stay, we are planning on being at MK, then taking the monorail to Epcot, then walk through Epcot back to YC. (Anything to not have to take a bus
It looks like it will not be EMH at Epcot, so what is the latest that we could gain entry to Epcot to use international gateway back to YC. I'd hate to get stuck! That would ruin our evening and just put a damper on our trip. Thanks for your help, opinions and info!

Sorry for the rash of transportation questions , this will be the first time in 14 years that we will not have a rental car while at wdw. I'm excited to leave the driving to a professional so we can relax, but want to make sure all bases are covered regarding how we 'll get around. LOVE walking to/back from Epcot!

Most nights, Epcot closes at 9 with Illuminations, so I'd be through the gate a few min before 9.

I would think that I'd want to get there 30 min before park closing or you'll feel like a salmon swimming up stream! Avoid the mass exodus!

Coffee Talk- love that pin!

Thank you for all your efforts on our behalf. It is greatly appreciated. I am not a coffee drinker, but my wife is in serious need before speaking, or breathing . I assume from your response that, unlike staying in a resort room where mouse-keeping visits daily, the BCV guests are not regularly/daily supplied coffee packets. Which means we need to buy some coffee packets for the room; or, I run down and fill her refillable mug first thing in the morning. Am I correct in this assumption?

If you are staying at BCV and you have a cash reservation (booked it through CRO) then you will get maid service every day like you would in the regular BC hotel, and if that is the case you should get your coffee and such refilled each day. If you are using DVC points (either renting them, if you are a DVC member, or if a DVC member gave you points to use), you will only get maid service mid week.

Thanks for answering! I was hoping to bring "my" coffee, but the pods would be easier, for sure.

Sorry if I added any confusion to this discussion. I talked about bringing the Maxwell House coffee pods not because I was indicating that you might not be restocked, but basically because I like to be in control of my own coffee destiny and I love the convenience. I still haven't figured out the situation with the Cuisinart pods they have in the resort (not villa) rooms - I will have to deal with in Disneyland

@ jen- no reason you can't bring your own coffee, I just use the MH filter packs because they are so convenient.

Hey Dee, I just checked the DVC member website for BCV and downloaded the latest version of the grocery order form. It's dated 09/17/2013, so it's newer than the one you have. I e-mailed it to you.

The prices for these three items are the same on the new list. I don't know if anything else has changed. I haven't compared the two lists.

Thank you so much for sending this- it has proven to be a helpful resource for questions we occasionally get about what is available at the Marketplace, and more importantly, "How much???"

You'd be better calling AAA once 2015 rates are released. Remember, Disney usually has promotions in Feb, so a AAA rate is not always the best rate.

No, your travel agent is wrong. If you are paying cash, it is just like a regular hotel. None of the DVC rules apply. The travel agent might be Disney certified ... doesn't mean much. I had a guest the other day who booked thru a Disney certified TA and they told the guest they had a guaranteed view of the castle from the BC. Really? The TA even had it typed on the TA's letterhead in the confirmation.

I'm sorry, I know this was addressed before, but I can't find it. The renovations going on at the Beach Club, then the Yacht Club. When was the expected time of these? My parents are staying at the Yacht Club for their 50th wedding anniversary in December, and I was thinking they may want to switch to the Beach Club if the construction has moved over to the YC by then. Thoughts??

We're up for the same split this summer! Can't wait! Have never stayed on the dark side and have never even stepped foot in GF.
