At the water parks?
Sue- I was going to suggest you ask over on the Theme Park boards and hope that Cheshire Figment himself answers your question.
I'll try to remember to ask the lifeguards at SAB about the inflatable noodles when I am there in July.

Not sure if there is a conference or something else going on, but I know that a lot of people booked the resort for those dates through a special offered earlier in the year.

I agree with the others- great call! I am a very enthusiastic eater and my family booked the Deluxe Dining Plan on our first onsite stay in 2008. It nearly killed me trying to keep up with the pace of eating, and we even did a lot of counter service meals.
My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your dad.
If you are a member at Sam's Club, they offer discounted Gift Cards there, too ($47 for $50 GC)

Thanks for letting us know. Hope you find yourself back this way sometime in the future!

I'll update the list.

Thanks for that recommendation. Never really considered the Diamond Horseshoe (we love Columbia Harbor House), but I am going to check out the menu.

We always pack Body Glide to prevent chafing (I think I have seen suggestions to use it for your feet, too) and we bring moleskin in case we feel blisters starting.
What I have learned in the past few days is that I don't have nearly enough sandals for my trip!!! I usually wear sneakers in the parks, and will wear simple Columbia sandals if it is going to be a wet day. But I may look into some of the suggestions you all have provided and treat myself to some flip flops.

Ok, so I'm off topicbut does anyone know if we can use noodles in the lazy rivers at the WPs?
I always thought not, but last August we saw small kiddie size foam noodles, kinda odd rectangular shaped ones floating in the river at BB.
I'd much rather float on a noodle where I can be submerged in the hot August heat rather then sitting on top of a ring. And hard to get onto!! The rings
We always buy noodles for August. This year I've seen those inflatable noodles made by Intex I'm going to try! Will be great for SAB. And would be wonderful if we can bring them to the WP too. And the bobbing pool at BB. I know there's no way they'd let then in the TL pool! But I have hopes for the lazy rivers!
Mickey T you are so right about Teena! She is the epitome of Disney and BC. Much like Ranger Stan was at WL.
To answer an earlier question, as of last summer, pool noodles are allowed.

Does anyone know whats going on at the Yacht Club between 8/20 and 8/30 (when we are going)? I did a search on rooms during that time frame and there are none available.
I put in a room request (staying standard view club at YC) for a room near the Admiral or Commodore suites hoping to get a room on the water side closer to the lounge. If anyone has a better suggestion, let me know. Would get an official water view but we have 5 in our party.

Ok - it is DONE!!!!!!
Just grabbed the CL Lagoon or Pool view at BC and canceled dining. I think it's the best option for us. Although we are total foodies, we never use all of the credits and just can't eat all of the food that's included. We loved having TIW last year as AP holders so we could still get a discount yet order exactly what (and how much) we wanted. Honestly, I may even cancel a few TS meals - scheduled one or two extra just to make sure we were getting the value from the DxDP.
Very happy! Thank you!!!!!!![]()

Not a bad idea. I've been trying to watch for deals on them - Target has them a few times a year, right?

Thank you for the great info everyone!!! My DH really wanted to stay at the Poly so I decided since it's already booked and paid for and possibly the last time before construction on the DVC starts, we would stick with the Poly. I did tell him this time I want to visit BC and consider staying there next year.

BTW the diamond horseshoe was the best CS we have ever had at MK.
Too bad it is only opened seasonally. The food was great, the cms nice, it was organized and cool inside. Food comes from liberty tavern next door.

ff topic: I have a pair of Naot sandles that I wear at Disney, super comfy. I also find Clark's to be great. I've also been getting a lot of emails on Ugg sandles & boat type slip ons that are super cute. I live in all of my Uggs (non summer of course) because they feel so good, so thinking these may be good for me.
I read a tip that said spray your feet with with spray anti-perspiration deodorant to prevent blister & really if feet get wet. I haven't tried it yet.
