Here is what I just found on the Boardwalk Resort Thread regarding refillable mugs at the Boardwalk Bakery (in short "Yes" there will be a separate door you can enter in just to refill your resort mug):
For anyone with Twitter, @TouringPlans just posted a bunch of Boardwalk Bakery photos. They even have a special entrance just for refillable mug refills.

They also posted pics of some of the food, pastries, etc. They also have gluten free baby cakes items now, as well as a quiche and soup of the day.
Still no indoor seating though!
This is my first year at the BC but I believe you can get your mugs from the Marketplace. You would just pick them up and go pay for them and swipe your card and they will come off your Dining Plan.
On a side note, my DD16 (soon to be 17) is heading to France with her grandparents in July! She is the first grandchild to go on a overseas trip. This will be her first time out of the United States and is just blessed to have such great grandparents!!!! She will be a total of 4 days in Paris (2 in the beginning and 2 at the end) and then will be traveling along the Seine River in between. If you have any tips, just PM me - thanks!
Are the sandwiches a counter service option?

We have had ground floor rooms three times. Two of them were facing the lagoon and were wonderful. You could see people walking by but they weren't close enough to be able to look into the rooms. Those were great rooms, but they were also a free upgrade from standard to lagoon view. The third ground floor was room #1501, right next to the secret door to Epcot. That was also a free upgrade, but it was not very private. Everyone walking by could look in since they were only a few feet away. Most of the ground floor rooms are looking at the woods. The walkway is pretty close and people can look into your rooms. But we never had a problem with bugs or other critters. This was going to be one of my requests, whilst we love a full balcony, the fact we may not get one, I thought I would opt for ground floor and still have somewhere to sit in an evening, but my concern was, could it be on the front of the hotel, would not like that!
Also what is the bug situation like on ground floor, can they get under the door! Can those rooms be dark and cold?
You can pick up your refillable mug at the Marketplace. You can get it refilled there, at Hurricane Hannah's at the pool, or in the YC at Ale and Compass.Hi every one
I have a few questions. Is it possible to refill our mug at the new boardwalk bakery ?
I'll arrive at Yacht Club in august, the 5th. My plane is landing at 6 pm. I think we're going to eat at BC market place or in the boardwalk. How could we get our mugs ? I have the dining plan. With my key to the world, they give me my mugs ?
Thank you so much and you can correct my english if I made some mistakes.

Can anyone give me information about the Illuminations cruise? The website just takes me to the Yacht Club page. Any pricing info and reviews would be appreciated.
TIA

If we book gv and request a room in the volleyball courtyard, how far is the walk to various locations such as: Marketplace, SAB, quiet pool and Epcot? How plentiful are full balconies in this location?
I also want to thank everyone for being so friendly and helpful in this thread!!!
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not sure about the buses. Was anyone at Disney during the extra Leap Day last year?
DH & I were there last year on Feb 29 for the Leap Day, one more day event when MK was open 24 hrs. The park opened at 6a & busses were running at least 1hr prior to opening, maybe even earlier. DH & I didn't leave until 6a so we missed park opening, but still got free buttons for the event, they were giving out ears for the 1st so many people. It was pretty slow, & we walked on all the rides! I loved it! We left early afternoon as inlaws were coming & we were meeting up for dinner at DTD as they didn't want to buy park tickets for that day which was disappointing. I was disappointed with this because I was hoping to stay, but was in need of a nap. We tried to go back after DTD, but when we arrived it was impossible to get in, I've never seen so many people trying to get in. Droves were coming out & people said it was so packed & lines were so long. This was about 9p, so we just went back to hotel & swam at SAB. Moral of story was am was totally worth it, but evening was nuts, but I was so disappointed that it was so busy.

Although I have never stayed ground floor at the BC I always request ground floor when we stay at other Disney resorts. I have never seen any insect activity and we scan the rooms pretty good for bed bugs when we first enter the room.
I really feel like concerns over more bugs on the first floor rooms are over imagined. To me, it's just one of those things that people have time to worry about BEFORE a trip and then while they are in the thick of it and on the run, it doesn't even enter their mind. We all do it with this or that concern before a trip....
Don't worry, you are going to have a great trip and the only thing you are going to have to worry about is how you can possibly eat all those lobsters and crabs that keep finding their way on to your plate from Hurricane Hannah's!

This is a really tricky question to answer, since it requires someone who has lots of experience with multiple rooms at the resort.
Some of the YC rooms (particularly upper floors) that overlook the parking lot may have a distant view of Wishes. Other than that, I'm not really sure where the "nicest" of the standard views are located.
Your best bet may be to request the location you want, rather than the view- near lobby, upper floor, close to BC, etc.
Thank you for the info! Are there ways to reach the BC from the YC rooms/hallways/secret exits? I thought the only way to get from one to the other is through the lobby, so why would one request a room close to the BC?
What do the YC standard view rooms farther away from the BC look over? Looks like the BC side rooms overlook mostly roofs/the conference center. Do standard rooms overlook the resort's front valet entrance and the canal? That might be nicer than a roof.
We had a first floor room for 1/3 of our split 3 ways trip... don't ask.Although I have never stayed ground floor at the BC I always request ground floor when we stay at other Disney resorts. I have never seen any insect activity and we scan the rooms pretty good for bed bugs when we first enter the room.

Thanks for those links, 1971DBday![]()
Thank you very much. Is she going to visit Castle of Versailles ? It's beautiful near Paris where Louis 14 lived. All the castles near river called "La Loire" are beautiful too ! They have to taste french food (specially pastries and cakes)![]()
I was thinking of getting Kayla Surfing Lessons at Typhoon Lagoon, but was concerned with waiting until our vacation starts. So I got them pre-trip. My husband thinks I'm too reckless with our only child. I think they only live once...
Here's a photo:
