Congrats to your daughter. That's exactly what we are doing to celebrate my one year cancer free after surgery, chemo & radiation. Never stayed at BC before but we chose it for the relaxing atmosphere - love this thread it's been amazing to read. Can't wait to be there in 41 days.

Big news!!! We were going to cruise on Disney in October but Bob this afternoon just said, "let's cruise to Hawaii instead." Three hours later, I had it all booked and Southwest Airlines has a super sale and we're only paying $139 each way to San Diego. Found a nice hotel near the pier and booked that. It offers free transportation from airport and then to ship the next day. I can't believe I'm going to Hawaii. We fly out on November 20th and back on December 6th so we'll be having Turkey Day on the ship.

Wow - that's wonderful!!! So happy for you and Bob! (Just saw that great sale on SW today and need to book our January flights to LA soon.)

Three hours later, I had it all booked and Southwest Airlines has a super sale and we're only paying $139 each way to San Diego. Found a nice hotel near the pier and booked that. It offers free transportation from airport and then to ship the next day. I can't believe I'm going to Hawaii. We fly out on November 20th and back on December 6th so we'll be having Turkey Day on the ship.

Yep, got the last sky suite. We've cruised on the Fantasy and the Magic while the decorations were up. They are beautiful and the year we had Thanksgiving on the Magic, it was "magical".

Same with us, saw her and DW said no time to chat with your DIS friends, gotta check in.

We are in a room by the "secret" exit for EPCOT. Didn't ask for it just took whatever they gave us. It's great if you're going to EPCOT a lot, doing laundry, or like the quiet pool. Not good if you like SAB/lobby/buses.

The secret exit to Epcot was one of my favorite things last time we were at BC! We had a room on the second floor just a few doors down from the stairwell.

This time we are staying CL and made no room requests, so it will be fun to see where we end up! From what I understand the lounge is on the other end of the building from the exit(?)

Wow great news Teena!! Love how you put it all together so quickly. What a great airfare rate to San Diego! My family is trying to go to Hawaii next May. The only one that's been there is Russ. He went last April with my brother in law on a trip my BIL won through work. While there he said 'we all really need to come here!'. So hopefully we can get planning on it.

Russ and I will definitely see you on 10/13...can't wait!

I think Amazon delivers to the convention center, so you would be charged a delivery fee based on the weight of the shipment.

I am trying to prepare a post about the different ways/costs of getting a case of water at the Beach Club, so I would appreciate hearing about others' experiences:

The Beach Club Marketplace- case costs approx. $16 for 24 packs Dasani 12 oz

Hello All!

I haven't posted about Magic Bands in a while... so I thought I would fill you in on the latest information from today.

I was trying to book fastpass+ for October/November trip... I've been able to book 10/30 and 10/31, but couldn't book FP+ for 11/1 or 11/2, I could book FP+ for 11/3 and I leave at 11 on 11/4 so no need for anything that day. I was getting a message for 11/1 and 11/2 that said all my FP+ have been exceeded, but dinning and F&W reservations are showing up. I decided to call the number on the invite I got and it was the DVC number.... after giving all my member info and confirming I am indeed me calling I was transferred to someone who could help me I told the cast member my story and what was happening and then said does this make sense because I know I just gave you a lot of info She was so polite and after putting me on hold for what seemed like forever she came back and said she wanted to go into my account to see what was going on. She then came back on the line after 35 mins on hold to tell me that the problem I was having was a first and they think they know what's going on but they needed to work on it to fix the issue and that I should try to make FP+ selections on Monday... ok!

Since I already have a Magic Band for Septembers trip she did tell me that same band will work for 2 years and even though it says a new band is coming that it won't come because I have the band already She also explained that since this is a testing phase they do appreciate calls so they can work out the bugs, SO if you are having issues make sure you call because they really do appreciate the call!!

Thats my update!! All headed that way have safe travels and all there now have fun!!!

The IT techs have been so helpful and diligent in getting things like this worked out. If people would just call them and ask for help there would be a lot less stress (particularly over on the November MB/FP+ thread!!
