Hi, I'm Sandy. I really was going to read the whole thread before asking questions, but I'm starting to stress out. (My trip is still over a year away.) I was pricing for end of Sept 2014. Is it possible for the hotel to be full. I kind of know my dates (Sept 21-27). I'm noticing that standard views are unavailable. We just decided to change resorts on Sunday from spending two weeks at CBR to a week at CB. I won't have the vacation time but have been budgeting more to cover the lost week.

We are TEN days away from our first trip to the Beach Club

I can't believe it's almost here! I have 9 year old twins and an 8 year old so I know they are going to LOVE SAB. I hope we can actually get them to leave the pool and go to the parks

We've made our ADR's, received our magic bands, selected our FP+, the only thing to do now is wait.

Oh, and we haven't told the kids yet. I'm not sure if we'll tell them the night before or when we wake them up at 4:30 to get to the airport!

That is awesome!!!! Can't wait to hear how you surprise the kids!!!

I normally work Sundays and Mondays. However I took off that Monday (10/14). I'm so sorry I'm going to miss meeting you!!!!!

Hello All!

I haven't posted about Magic Bands in a while... so I thought I would fill you in on the latest information from today.

I was trying to book fastpass+ for October/November trip... I've been able to book 10/30 and 10/31, but couldn't book FP+ for 11/1 or 11/2, I could book FP+ for 11/3 and I leave at 11 on 11/4 so no need for anything that day. I was getting a message for 11/1 and 11/2 that said all my FP+ have been exceeded, but dinning and F&W reservations are showing up. I decided to call the number on the invite I got and it was the DVC number.... after giving all my member info and confirming I am indeed me calling I was transferred to someone who could help me I told the cast member my story and what was happening and then said does this make sense because I know I just gave you a lot of info She was so polite and after putting me on hold for what seemed like forever she came back and said she wanted to go into my account to see what was going on. She then came back on the line after 35 mins on hold to tell me that the problem I was having was a first and they think they know what's going on but they needed to work on it to fix the issue and that I should try to make FP+ selections on Monday... ok!

Since I already have a Magic Band for Septembers trip she did tell me that same band will work for 2 years and even though it says a new band is coming that it won't come because I have the band already She also explained that since this is a testing phase they do appreciate calls so they can work out the bugs, SO if you are having issues make sure you call because they really do appreciate the call!!

Thats my update!! All headed that way have safe travels and all there now have fun!!!

Getting excited, Friday I will be on my way to Disney with my family! First night at POP, then on to BCV and then to BC CL and finally ending at POP. I can hardly wait.

Plan on spending lots of time at SAB with my grandsons.

Thanks for posting your update. Not being able to schedule a FP+ on Nov 1st and 2nd fits in with what some other people have said about not being to book any November FP+'s. The surprising thing is that you can book Nov 3rd. So far people who have a check in date in Nov have been reporting that they can't customize their Magic Bands yet. The speculation is that Disney hasn't released Nov yet. The CM's comment that you should be able to book FP+ on Monday leads me to believe that Monday might be the day that people with check in dates in November will be able to get their MB's and FP+'s.

I'm not sure... She did say I was within my 60 day window which leads me to believe you can book at 60 days. I'm all booked for 11/3 just not the 1st or 2nd which is making me nuts!! She was really very nice and helpful, so I really wanted people to know you can call them because they are expecting the calls to work out as many bugs as they can! Anyway I'll keep checking incase something changes and I'll call on Monday if I can't book. All magic bands is doing for me is making me even more of a planner, but I'm having fun with it!!

We're heading to YC in October, and I have a question about room preferences.
I went to do online check in, but the website did not have the options for what I want (high floor, close to lobby). Their options for requests were ground floor, low floor, high floor and close to transportation.

Should I call the hotel directly before we arrive and log my requests there?

Or do the buses load directly outside of the lobby (making 'close to transportation' and 'close to lobby' basically the same)?

Arrived at Beach Club yesterday! It is amazing! Teena was working, and I was almost star struck! I didn't have time to chat, I was too busy!

Same with us, saw her and DW said no time to chat with your DIS friends, gotta check in.

We are in a room by the "secret" exit for EPCOT. Didn't ask for it just took whatever they gave us. It's great if you're going to EPCOT a lot, doing laundry, or like the quiet pool. Not good if you like SAB/lobby/buses.

Close to transportation would be close to lobby. The bus stop is outside the front door and the boat is right out the back door.

I must say the IPO at the BC has been nothing short of amazing with helping me with our upcoming trip. Today I emailed them to ask them what the beer selections would be for our trip, within 5 minutes I had a friendly reponse back. What is even better they have 5 different ones to chose from I am so excited for our first CL stay and hope they are just as awesome in person.

Big news!!! We were going to cruise on Disney in October but Bob this afternoon just said, "let's cruise to Hawaii instead." Three hours later, I had it all booked and Southwest Airlines has a super sale and we're only paying $139 each way to San Diego. Found a nice hotel near the pier and booked that. It offers free transportation from airport and then to ship the next day. I can't believe I'm going to Hawaii. We fly out on November 20th and back on December 6th so we'll be having Turkey Day on the ship.

Three hours later, I had it all booked and Southwest Airlines has a super sale and we're only paying $139 each way to San Diego. Found a nice hotel near the pier and booked that. It offers free transportation from airport and then to ship the next day. I can't believe I'm going to Hawaii. We fly out on November 20th and back on December 6th so we'll be having Turkey Day on the ship.

I plan my cruise for two years out and you go and plan one two months out! Super! Lee Ann and I want to be like you and Bob!

We get down on November 16th so hopefully we can get together.
