Via Napoli is sort of in between - not the thick doughy stuff, but not quite super-thin NY style. It's wood-fired semi-Italian style, Americanized a bit for those that expect to see a lot of cheese and pepperoni options. I grew up on NY Pizza and that's what I love, but also very much appreciate an Italian pizza with the delicious crust and more sparse toppings - softer crust with some charred bits, thin, usually more of a thinner, less salty tomato sauce topping, whole milk buffalo mozz, and basil. The via napoli pies are sot of American looking, with a wider rim crust and more cheese and sauce - but they're generally a little more basil-forward and slightly thicker than a NY slice. The taste and quality is very good - still quite enjoyable. They are still generally a thin crusted pizza, wood oven cooked, so much better than the fat thick bread-loaf crusts Disney places usually have.
