I just wanted to share something special to me and to ask if anyone knows the name of this CM? I believe we were in the Marketplace but we might have been in the YC (my memory is not clear on this). Anyways, this gentleman was so sweet to my little guy and made this special to us. It was our first pin trade ever (in Dec.) and he was very nice, patient, and let my son take his time picking out what he wanted to trade for and explaining to him that it is up to him. I should have wrote a letter to management but I never did get his name.

ETA: Well, I couldn't figure how to make them smaller so here they are in all their large grandeur!

I'm sorry, I don't see the humor in making fun of the noodle family. It is clear to most of us that they have an eating disorder, and are in need of some nutritional help. I hope that when you see them around the pool at BC that you offer to buy them some lunch at Hurricane Hannah's, instead of making fun of them. They seem like such a nice family.

You ladies really crack me up and the noodle family has brought me out of lurkdom!

Just got back from another fabulous stay at the YC CL! Simply incredible! Everything was perfect, what can I say? Even booked a bounceback for September but it was for the GF's RPC for our anniversary. ACK! But I'm really debating on changing it. I am a resort changer, it's always between the GF and the YC/BC. LOL the best of WDW!

I've been praying for you ladies going through your trials! Being a cancer survior myself I completely understand, and doc, you are weighing very heavyly on my heart and mind. Many positive thoughts and prayers from my home to yours.

We left some noodles in our room, I wonder what happened to them.
Did them become homeless? Or adopted by the next family?

Please get a picture of your family or yourself with the noodles when you have them. Even better would be a picture of you AND the person you are handing them off to if possible. This is a great way to meet your fellow Yacht & Beach Club FAQ thread friends over something extremely silly!

If something happens to the noodle, it's OK... really! Just let us know and then some one down the line can try to replace it if they get the chance. This is all for fun so don't freak out if the noodles get lost or damaged. Have a great vacation and take care of the noodles with out fretting about it!

Pictures of the noodles engaging in your vacation activities are WELCOME! Say you are having a drink by the pool... take a picture of the noodle (with yourself as well if you want) 'posing' with the drink and post it on the Yacht & Beach Club FAQ Thread. Be creative! The sillier the better and an imaginative caption will help to set the scene and tell the 'story'.

The families involved in each hand-off would be responsible for contacting each other to arrange a time/place for the swap, or if the noodles need to go to Bell Services for a short vacation, I think the family that hands them over will have to give the name of the family who is going to claim them. OR would it work if we used a fake name (like the Ramen family) for each pickup?

Notes* A 1) denotes the first person of the time period to post and ask for the noodle. A 2) means the second person to post for that time period and so forth....

We left some noodles in our room, I wonder what happened to them.

Aye yi yi!! So you're the one! Those noodles you left unattended are very rowdy! They were running through the hallways at night screaming cheers and looking for a Food Court. Thankfully a Beach Club greeter named Richard corralled them and put them on a bus for Pop Century! All of the guests were very relieved!

I'm so glad I found this thread again. Now that our trip is getting closer, I'm getting pumped and doing all the research I can on the resort! I have a few questions, and I'm hoping all of you awesome knowledgeable people can answer them (I did search the thread but it didn't turn up what I was looking for).

1)I know the refillable mugs can be filled at Hurricane Hanna's, Beaches & Cream, and Beach Club Marketplace. Are all of these places self serve? I was confused by the post on the first page because it only says Hurricane Hanna's is.

2)Does the Beach Club Marktplace sell bagels & cream cheese and small fruit cups? I'm assuming they do but can't find them on menus.

3)A more general question: I'm going to order our park tickets and pick them up will call. Can I pick them up at the lobby concierge or do I have to go to a park? If I have to go to a park, can I just pick them up from the IG ticket booth and not actually enter the park?

I have to say that when we were there in 2007, the DID make my 2-year-old son wear a wristband. He did not need a room card (obviously, he didn't get one being under 3), but we had to show our card, and they put the band on him EVERY time we visited SAB.
