Thanks for posting the video! Nice to have a face to put to the name for those of us who haven't had the pleasure of meeting Teena. And sadly, looks like I won't this next trip late Aug, as Teena plans to go visit her daughter!

I think that bloomer outfit Marlton Mom designed would look cute on you Teena :laughing:

I got a message that I have a fitting for the new design on Saturday so maybe I'll have something to report when I get home from work.

You're welcome.

 that's funny! I hope they are easier to get off then the old EMH bands, I could never get them off, and had to go to gift shop and ask for a scissor!

You might need the gift shop again.... :thumbsup2

Your big trip sounds amazing Nannette, I'm sure you'll get everything you want :)

I really hope everything lines up... I was never so happy to send off a plan as I was to send that one off!

1. Congrats!!! I'll add you to the list! Let me know if you decide to make the switch to YC CL.

2. IDK- we always check bags

3. There are no plastic bottles of water in the CL lounge. They do have large glass bottles. I ask the CL CMs for one to take back to our room to use to fill the Camelbacks we take to the park.

Don't forget that you can ask for a free cup of ice water at any of the counter service stands in the park that sell soft drinks from a fountain. That really cuts down on the amount of water you need to carry into the park. Most of the places will gladly give you a cup.

I can't describe how awesome the CL breakfast is, or the cookies and chips during the afternoon or the appetizers in the evening and the desserts at night. Oh wait, yes I can- check out the photos on page 1!

1. Thanks. Doesn't look like we'll move to YC or CL. (Sigh.) Dh won't do it.:sad1:

2. No problem. I suppose I'm being silly wondering all this stuff anyway.

Thanks for the help.

I'm also afraid to see what it is. I have some wild visions of possibilities thanks to MarltonMom!!!

I'm picturing something dramatic like this:

or perhaps cutesy like this:

But I'm betting on something like this:

But really the above pictures are Victorian "Bathing Suits" so I doubt we'd see Teena in something like this. This type of outfit wouldn't be appropriate for a greeter. Now if we're talking life guards then maybe.... LOL!!! Can you imagine if the life guards had to work in something like this?? They'd all quit 'en-mass'.

Don't worry Teena, it's going to be fine! Maybe this new incarnation of your outfit will be even nicer and more comfortable ... and besides it would have to be comparable to what the other guy greeter is wearing.... which we know for sure will be that green speedo. ;)

Teena I hope you're feeling better these days.

The costume woman said something like long dress with big hat and umbrella ????

She said it was what they wore in 1900-1905 at a beach resort.

Well look on the bright side.... you can keep snacks in the hat and you can whap those annoying junior managers in the shins with the umbrella!

Listen, you'd look great in just about anything because it's your warm personality and your friendly smile that will shine through all the fabric they can wrap you up in!

Don't worry it will be ok. We'll let you know if we can't tell its you under the costume!

I think I would be upset if it looks like this that I found when I looked up beachwear 1900-1905

:scared1: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Sorry, I'm still laughing. Oh, you'll have to take some pics Sat. if they show you the design. Maybe they saw Marlton Moms posts!!! :lmao::lmao:

I think I'm calling in sick on Saturday!

Oooooh, la, la! Do you think you'll be in your new "duds" by next weekend? I would be thrilled to take a picture with you in this number!!!! ;)

Can't wait to officially meet you in just a week and 2 days!!!! We started packing tonight and so far the kids have underwear, night clothes, socks and bathing suits ready to go. :goodvibes

Devin had his first post op check up and the surgeon was pleased w/ how the new xrays looked. He told Devin that he can keep the splint off when he's home but he has to be extra careful not to bump it, etc. That made Devin somewhat happy and helped to soften the blow that he still would not release him to drive.

Time is sure to fly this weekend w/ a friend's birthday party, Sophie's dance recital, Devin's lacrosse banquet and finishing packing. Volunteer luncheon on Tuesday, back to orthoped w/ Dev on Wednesday, then leave for Disney at noon on Thursday!!!!! Aaaaaah, we can't believe it's actually here. :yay:

Warm thoughts and prayers to everyone. So glad you seem to be feeling better, Teena!

, Alice'
