**2011** Epcot Food & Wine Festival HAS ENDED. 2012 Festival 9/28 - 11/11

Wow, the Beer & Pizza Tasting looks wonderful. May have to see if I can add it on to my reservations

Just got back yesterday and I have some great pictures of marketplace items (uploading) as well as a review of Buddy Valastro's Sweet Sunday (amazing!!)

I'll be back later to post :goodvibes

I thought you didn't get into to that one! How did you end up working it out?

We were at PFTS on Saturday. It was our fifth one and we had a great time. It was a very soggy weekend at Disney (almost 5 inches of rain officially on Saturday). They kept the party running an extra half hour (to 10:30) because of traffic problems people had related to the rain. We walked from the BCV so traffic wasn't an issue for us but we enjoyed the extra 30 minutes of the party. Food and wine were great, Cirque was somewhat of a repeat of two of our favorite elements they have done in the past but we didn't mind as it was still as cool as the first time we saw it. Lots of people but never waited in much of a line and there was plenty of anything anyone wanted. Another great PFTS!

Anyone know if the Primavera Smoothie @ the Italy booth is non-alcoholic? I'm guessing so based on the price (3.50).

I can't tell from anything I've read....

Will be traveling with two young kids, so it would be nice to have something cold/special to offer them, especially when it will be so warm!

It is non-alcoholic and very yummy . . . or at least it was last year. It's on my list to have again this year.

Glad to hear it was gd - we have been doing them since before they were called PFTS-We r there next week and can't wait. Totally bummed out that WDW dropped one of them this yr cause we like to do 2. WVL makes up for it alittle

I've seen so many wonderful pictures of the F&W goodies! Keep em coming! But, either I missed it or none have been posted yet of the famed Fisherman's Pie. I'd LOVE to see what it looks like! :goodvibes

If this is the wrong place, sorry. This is the thread that pulled up when I tried to search for this answer.... I saw on Disney Blog that someone waited in a really long line to see a concert last year. Specifically I am planning to attend on 10/25 for Boys II Men. How early do I need to arrive? I promise I searched through this thread but did not see the answer...

I walked into this concert last year, no wait. If you want seats up front then you need to be there at least an hour in advance. If you just want in the theater anytime.

The Boyz II Men concerts are very popular and if your heart is set on seeing them you need to get there at least 30 min. before. If you want seats toward the front get in line 45 min to an hour. We've gotten to the venue late sometimes and had to stand way in the back on the walkway. They really put on a great show. Worth the wait.

Yes it is non alcoholic. My dd had one last night in fact. It is strawberry with a taste of apricot nectar in it. Enjoy!

Hi,

Does anyone have a guess as to what date F&W will end in Nov 2012. We are thinking of going down for Veteran's Day weekend. Veteran's day will be on a Sun. and probably a federal holiday on Mon. Do you think Disney will extend the end date to the Monday??

Anyone have any ideas as to what they might do? We're trying to plan for next year but hate to go down for the weekend and only have the last 2 days of food and wine.

Thanks.

The dates for the 2012 Food and Wine Festival have been officially announced. They are September 28 through November 11. Apparently at this time the festival will not be extended to include Monday, November 12.

:wave2:
Where are all the F&W pics? I'm going this weekend and wanted to premature drool a little...
Thx to those who posted some...
M
