Wow...this thread is on fire!
So as some of you know, I made my theatrical debut over the weekend as the Cook in a Monty Python-style version of The Canterbury Tales.
3 shows down, 2 to go!
Great news on your debut Dee!!
Made it through the first day of work. Only had to take my pain meds around 1 PM. My one boss said he was coming out to see me at 2 PM to make sure I wasn't doing silly things in the lobby after taking the meds - he was really concerned even though I told him the pills didn't make me loopy. So when he came out later, a guest I knew really well was walking in the door so I said to him, "Sir, welcome to Pop Century". My boss didn't know what to do ... funniest look on his face and the guest came up to me and said, "darn, I thought I was at Allstars Music". He played right along ... it was great. I finally had to tell my boss I was close friends with the guest ... don't think he thought it was that funny. The guest and I enjoyed ourselves though.
You're a trooper Teena! Enjoyed your 'Pop Century' story too...haha.
I had my MRI this morning...felt like I was on the Tea cups only lying face down.
Thinking about Disney
DH birthday is tomorrow. We are planning to take the girls to the American Girl store on Thursday but depending on the weather...it's snowing right now as I type this
I thought it was the first day of Spring...but I am in New England
DH's uncle past away from brain cancer Saturday so depending on when the services will be we will be heading to CT for a day or two.
The best news of all is that I get to book my ADR's on Thursday. Trying to figure out where I really want to eat.
Prayers to you with all you are going through doccoc...and sorry for your loss as well.
Oh about that American Girl store...too bad my daughter is older now! One year my sister took her there for her birthday and I tagged along. We saw the play, had lunch and did some shopping...great place!
Hello all! Having a mojito and enjoying the view here at the Beach Club while the wife and kids nap!

Now that's my kind of relaxation Bigkid! Sounds wonderful.
Ugh! I need to stop reading this thread. After making a huge leap a few days ago and upgrading from POFQ to standard BC, now I want to upgade to CL! We did it on our last visit to BC (Summer 2009) but only for 2 nights. I'm trying to figure out if its worth the extra cost...I know we'd use the breakfast for sure. The pre-planning is done. Hmmm....thoughts?
As others have said, I don't know if it's worth the cost for everyone, but last summer we were upgraded which was a wonderful and unexpected surprise. We were not on the dining plan and ate breakfast there every morning (well my teen-age kids slept through it a couple of times!). Prior to the 'pixie dust', we made some purchases through Garden Grocer for some breakfast items to use for several days along with a case of water, some soda, juice and milk. CL worked out well since they offer what we like to eat for breakfast at home. With it being so hot in the summer and taking breaks back at the hotel we stopped by there often, even if only for a few minutes, for snacks, drinks (water, soda, juice, coffee and of course DH and I enjoyed our wine and beer and an occasional evening cocktail!), appys, and dessert. As Robyn mentioned, those homemade chips and dip in the afternoon are great. So for us on this trip, we would have benefitted even had we paid for CL as we really only made one big dinner reservation per day.
Hi guys - just checking in. My mom came through the surgery and we are taking it day by day. I really, really appreciate all the prayers and well wishes.
Good to hear Robyn. Hoping the best for your Mom and Amanda's Mom too.

I loved meeting you last August at our mini Dis meet!
I'm praying for your mother.
Hi Nettie! Yes I enjoyed our DIS Meet last August...I just wish I had a trip ticker!!
Hi pixarmom! - Are you going to the spring 'preview' at Busch Gardens? My family loves Busch Gardens Williamsburg...gorgeous park!! In fact, we visited with my brother and his family around Christmas and went the 'Christmastime'
there. It was beautifully decorated and was just so festive! We haven't been there in the summer since 2006.
And to everyone else with an upcoming trip, Happy, Happy planning!
