Yeah, I had that happen to me as well. After some time I used time skips to finish that dreamspark task to do the event task.

So it appears that this latest crop of Gameloft interns have dropped the ball with the old Smee chest. Once the characters have all reached 10, the chest is only giving one relic, at the moment.

The chest was also giving Mayor Bellflower tokens. There may have been a third one as well, maybe Chicha from Emperor's New Groove. But I have completed those characters, so the chest is just giving attraction tokens for me.

Same. All of my kingdom permanent characters are maxed. All I get from the fancy chest is attraction relic things. No useful ones of course (need Fantasia relics).

The daily figment/orange bird chest is only giving me one of the orange bird tokens now. I need the ear hat token and I haven't got one in a long time. Then the joint 24-hour task with John and Peter is not producing an ear hat token. I really wish Gameloft would drop tokens for all of these long and joint tasks.

Got the Broom today, so done with Pins.

Aside from collecting for the event characters, I'm focusing on Evermist (Level 9) and Dawn Bellweather (Level 8). A few at a time seems to work better for me than anything else. I'm also using the cauldron to get elixir to buy tokens for some of these characters...the waiting on tasks is brutal in most cases.

The daily chest with tokens is not a Smee chest. It is a chest that can drop a relic or common token and then drops two other tokens for any permanent content character that you don't have maxed out. But if you have all of the permanent content characters maxed, then I guess you are only going to get something from the initial relic/common token drop spot. For instance, I get a lot of Great Prince of the Forest drops, and Jaq drops, and maybe have gotten like 1 Smee token the entire time that this chest has been a thing. And sometimes even get very easy to get tokens, which annoys me. But again, that's because I have a lot of permanent characters who are not maxed (or aren't in my kingdom yet, as I'm very, very close to starting the Rescuers).

I've been at the time wall for a while now, so I've been working on trying to get all of the new characters I got in LCs the past week or so up to 5, including Sneezy who joined my kingdom yesterday with the influencer code that dropped then. Seems that this chapter was pretty easy for me, but I'm assuming that bodes badly for Clarabelle.

Not now, no. Not anymore. But back when it was first introduced, it was created to help players level up Smee. I just honestly never bothered to figure out the actual name that the Gameloft interns officially gave it.

I am about there with you. I have not yet spent my duplicate pin credits as I am waiting to see where I stand. But darn, I really want that broom. New puppy distractions. I won't complain, because the love of a dog healing my heart is working much faster than a game that I love... but will just ultimately go away.
