I'm doing a quick check-in this afternoon and wanted to welcome the new posters!

Robyn, your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Dee, yet more in common! Our oldest is close to Nate's age and he's really into theater - he's been involved in community theater productions so I've seen plenty of parents brought in from the sidelines and on to the stage! Hope you will post at least photos and at best a video of your debut! Meanwhile, we're thinking of you just days away from the warmth and sunshine at Barcelo! I just caught up on your trip report last night and we hope to see some Barcelo photos there when you return!

Teena - hope you are having a wonderful visit with Jeanne. That's what always happens with first baby flat stomach and then all of a sudden a pop!

If you guys could please keep my family in your prayers. My mom had emergency surgery yesterday and things are really touch and go.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

It's a tough road ahead and we are taking it day by day. My mom has an infection in her blood stream, internal bleeding and a blockage in her heart.

They had her on IV antibiotics, but they had to operate to remove her artificial knee replacement because it was badly infected. They need to get the infection cleared up before they can do a colonoscopy to see where the bleeding is coming from. Right now she is receiving a lot of blood transfusions. They can't do the cardiac cath to put in a stent until the internal bleeding stops.

My mom is a terrific person and is so devoted to her family. We are trying to get through this as best we can and praying for the best.

Although I'm in the classroom at Jeanne's school, I still get calls from our beloved Y&B. The dock for the boats is now scheduled to start rehab and go down February 28th. Dee, can you change the start date at the front of the thread? They still anticipate the same amount of time to finish it so you'll have to change the end date too.

Done. I put up 2/28 as a start date and 3/21 (3 weeks) as the end date.
