Hi everyone,

Sitting in Orlando airport waiting for our Jetblue Flight home after taking the "unmagical" Express here.

We had an amazing time at the BC CL the past 9 days. Even DH said we cant stay anywhere else from now on. We met Teena on Sunday and saw her again on Monday but unfortunately, had the ME at 910am today so we missed her. We were in room 5682 which overlooked the courtyard for the back entrance which we great, full balcony as well. We didn't use it much but loved having it to dry the bathing suits. The CL lounge was wonderful and as I posted above, they just got a new cabinet for the fridge. The offering were great for breakfast, snack and evening. They were different each night with quesadillas, chicken stewers, crab rongoons and more, plus the wonder desserts. I can't say enough good things about the CMs on Club level. One even made me a special Birthday pin that SOOO many people complimented me on. I will post a pic when we get home. We did have the deluxe dining plan but most did signature dining for dinner so we used all our credits. The food was wonderful everywhere but especially Yachtmens and Calfornia Grill where we ate twice each, (Thanks for the suggestion Teena). We tried the new Via Napoli in Italy, it was very good but took almost 2 hours for lunch, if you want relaxing lunch, this is the place for you. We used SAB every afternoon due the heat and humidity. On Thursday they got in all NEW lounge chairs and regular chairs for the pool and deck area. They are blue mesh, very nice. I took pics and will post tomorrow. Our DD would do the Cotton Eye Joe and Cupid Shuffle with the life guards every day and the entertainment staff knew her by name. IF you are celebrating a Birthday while at WDW/BC/YC, ask at the pool for their NEW birthday Tatoos. They are the ONLY property at WDW that has them and several managers at other properties asked me about it. Looks the same as the button. Almost no crowds except yesterday. We have the Give a Day fastpasses and hardly needed them.
It was the best family vacation ever and DD & I shed a tear as we left. I will be taking my mom for a girls only 70th bday trip in May so I am not too sad.

I know I am late into this question, but I would stay at the BC for the pool and location to Epcot and Disney Studio. Then just hop the bus to MK and either go into park or jump monrail right in front of enterance to MK and visit all 3 wonderful hotels. Try out the snack areas at all three to make a great day of it.

Somewhat sad to say but you can take us off the December list for Yacht Club (9-15) but happily we are still coming to Disney. We are taking the advice of someone I won't name (just in case she doesn't want people to know she's recommending other hotels, too http://www.disboards.com/images/smilies/wink.gif) and finally found availability at the Grand Floridian for our dates. I will still follow the thread though, as we plan on coming back for a moms-kids trip with my best friend next September and Beach/Yacht Club is No. 1 choice on our list. (Definitely better at a time we can use the pool.) So I'll be crossing my fingers for AP rates next September!

EDITED TO ADD: Our room was part of the December room-only discount pool and I checked just now and it's listed as available again, so if anyone was looking for a Dec 9-15 Yacht Club club level upgrade ... It's available.

I just placed my order with Garden Grocer for our trip. Seems close now!

For the first time we added alcohol to the order. I never thought to ask if we needed to be present to accept this order! Does anyone know?

We've ordered beer and wine in the past from garden grocer and no you don't have to be present when they deliver it. We'll be there in a week and am getting it again and I spoke to them and asked to make sure they haven't changed their rules and they told me we don't have to be there when they deliver.

We stayed in they same room the week before Labor Day! We really liked not having a room on one side of us. My daughter sat out on the balcony a couple of times, but mostly it was too hot. At least it had the afternoon shade. We loved BC CL, too. Hard to imagine staying anywhere else, now.

Can someone explain the process of entering IG for rope drop? Will they let us walk around at any time or do we have to wait until opening to get in? Thanks for the help.

We went through IG for the princess breakfast at 810am IG but they did check our name on the list first. Not sure if they will let you in for rope drop if not on the list. maybe once it is closer to 9am.

Here is the pic of the new lounge chairs, i have more on my phone that I will post. They also have the same style but that are more like chairs but still recline around the pool and regular chairs at all the tables including those on the porches and near beaches & cream.

I have a related question. If you want to go to future world, which I'm assuming is what this poster is asking, aren't you at a disadvantage to get to 'Soarin, for example, because wouldn't it be a further walk from IG than from the main gate?

We just returned from our vacation and we had an AWESOME time at YC CL. I fell in love with YC and I'm so glad we changed from BC to YC. YC decor wasn't too dark for my family and we loved the lobby, room, pool ..... well we loved everything. The regular staff and the staff on CL went out of their way to help my family with anything. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the hotel

This was going to be our last trip to Disney, but we have now changed our minds. I'm looking forward to another trip at the YC! If anyone has any questions about YC CL or YC let me know.

OH, the walk to Epcot was sooo easy and short! Hollywood Studios was about a 15 min to 20 min. walk and we beat the boat every time.

I have a few questions

For CL, we check-in at the CL desk, not online before, correct?

What beer & wine are they offering these days? Drinks for kids?

How were the food offerings?

Is the YC CL also trying out being open 24 hours? My DH is an early riser and needs his coffee before 7am.

I'm certainly not an expert regarding either the distances or the rope drop procedure, but in our experience at EPCOT park opening, we did not feel we were at a disadvantage. We walked through an empty (because it was not open yet) World Showcase and then went straight to Soarin to pick up our FPs. This was in March, and it was not a crowded morning, but it was so much less crowded coming from the World Showcase side than the main entrance.

I've seen many other threads on this topic, and it seems like experiences / rope drop procedure has varied for lots of different guests. But in our experience, it worked just fine!

So hard to believe I'm here and coming back in just a month with family to BC!!

We stayed in they same room the week before Labor Day! We really liked not having a room on one side of us. My daughter sat out on the balcony a couple of times, but mostly it was too hot. At least it had the afternoon shade. We loved BC CL, too. Hard to imagine staying anywhere else, now.

That was really nice feature of the room until Friday when the Saudi Arabian royal family checked into Club Level including the Nantucket Suite and had round the clock security in the hall outside their room. I understand they need security but they were not very quite. and kept looking at us like we didn't belong. They had the Presidential Suite and the entire wing to the right of the CL check in area also plus several other rooms. They must have been leaving BC for another WDW hotel on Sunday when we checked out since all the bags were in the hall and when we were waiting for the ME, 4 Disney vans pulled up to take their luggage.
