Yup, she was! It was nice to know that someone who had been in our place (nervous moms (and dads) on an interview with DISNEY!!!) was on the call!

The email we received for round 3 let us know that we would be notified on or about Nov. 10th. So, hopefully we'll all know on Tuesday!! What a long few days are ahead of us all.

I am really wishing I could have a "do over" for my interview yesterday. I really let my nerves get the best of me. I feel like I rambled incoherently and couldn't come up with answers to questions that I didn't anticipate. I'm really disappointed in myself. It's hard to come so close and then feel like you blew it. I wish I could have just relaxed and let the interviewers see the real me.

I felt the same way! I was wishing I could do a rebuttal with all the "What I meant to say was..."

I just keep telling myself THEY know how weird interviews are---especially on a conference call. So, they were just making sure we weren't freaks, right? So as long as we didn't sound like freaks...oh dear god...maybe I *did* sound like a freak!!!

My favorite piece of architecture under my feet is the pathway area behind Spaceship Earth that twinkles at night. I just love to watch it. It sort of mesmerizes me

Oh I agree! It's SUCH a Disney-thing to do. You'd never expect it and you'd never know it was there AND you'd miss it if you weren't there at the right time. One of my favorite Disney moments period!

I figure with all the support I've gotten here it couldn't hurt to share what was going on here. DH lost his job today. Things have been really tight already around here and we are definitely not in any position to be without income at all. However, I have faith that everything happens for a reason and something will come through for him. He's been networking and starting his search from the time he came home today. Any extra thoughts or prayers you could send his way would be so very appreciated. Thank you all...

Ok, I have a question for the 3rd rounders..

Up to this point, what has been the best part of this experience for you?

Honestly, the dream has been the best part. With each step, that dream got a little bit closer (even with some bumps in the road) and no matter what happens the journey has been so completely amazing. Knowing that Walt Disney World - THE Walt Disney World picked ME to move on in each step of the process...they actually read my words, and wanted to talk to ME...is all just part of this amazing dream. As much as I wrote and talked about wanting this, I am no less in awe of the fact that I actually made it to this level. Meeting everyone on here, twitter and facebook, meeting other moms and the Disney people at the MMC event in August, talking to them on the phone this week...it's just surreal. I'm sure I'm not alone in those thoughts either. I will cherish this honor and every moment of this experience forever.

Thanks, Jud. Yes, we have been through trying times before...definitely not in this economy and definitely not with a mortgage like we have now, or with 3 kids. But we'll pull through. We always do.

Sending prayers and pixie dust your way. It's been a very rough year financially for us too after I lost my job. But, I'll tell ya, coming on the DIS and making so many friends and just talking DISNEY has helped keep my sanity. Hopefully my job search will come to an end soon
