**2010** Epcot Food & Wine Festival ENDED 11/14. 2011 FESTIVAL 9/30-11/13

Oh, yeah! I also had a question! I see this year they are advertising that they will have a Food & Wine tote for purchase. Saw the design and wasn't overthrilled..... do you think they are going to make those cool messenger bags again this year from last year's banners? I believe TDC Nala got the "Baloney" bag last year...? That was pretty awesome, BTW!:thumbsup2

I hope so! I was there on the preview (Cast) day last year and saw some at the entrance to WS but waited because I wanted to see if they had France/Lyon in the Festival shop. Well they all sold out on the first 1 or 2 days! I have a friend looking for me on the 30th this year since DH and I don't get there until the 16th!

Is there a list somewhere (Disney sites) that shows what authors are participating on which dates?

Would your friend want to look for a second one on the 30th? :worship:
I really wanted one of those bags last year but we don't go to the festival until late October. I'm guessing they will sell out immediately again.

You could start a business buying these bags early and selling to fellow F&W groupies!

I know! I bet people will be fighting over them. Or CM's will scoop them all up. I will ask her to keep an eye out!

We were there for the festival opening last year, and I still didn't see the bags anywhere. I was so disappointed.

I'm so excited that we'll start seeing pictures/reviews of the food now!

last year I remember seeing a list of chefs who were doing book signings during the F&W Festival; but I havent seen anything yet? Any ideas? Maybe I am not looking in the right place???? TIA

I have tickets to signature dining with Kat Cora on 10/28 that I now can't use. Does Disney keep a waitlist? I know they told me my tickets were non-refundable but since the event is sold out, I thought maybe I had a shot at selling them back?

I called Disney and the gal said she thought maybe there was a wait list and I needed to email customer service which I did. I got an automatic reply saying they would write back in 8-10 days :)

I have never done these pre-reserved events before. Does anyone have any experience with this or can give me some advice?

Thanks!

According to all information we have, Food and Wine Festival events are nontransferable and nonrefundable. I don't know how it works with a waitlist - I remember asking once a year or two ago and being told there was no waitlist because the admission is not transferable. You will likely have to wait for a response to see what the official answer is this year. That doesn't mean you can't find someone to take your admission, but they'll have to check in as you.

To my knowledge since Disney started the non-refundable policy 3 ? years ago, there is no wait list.
You might try emailing Tables In Wonderland wdw.tables.in.wonderland@disney.com but I doubt they keep a wait list since all tickets sold non-refundable.
Good Luck!

Food and Wine Classic Question - Does anyone know what the dress code is?

Great! If you end up with a second bag, just pm me with the details of how to pay you, etc.

Resort casual. It's being held in a public causeway. I don't expect a lot of people to wear anything they wouldn't wear in one of the nicer restaurants. I'm probably just going to wear a nice top and capris.
