**2010** Epcot Food & Wine Festival ENDED 11/14. 2011 FESTIVAL 9/30-11/13

CAn anyone please confirm is there is a "wine passport", or something like it, and the price for it?? TIA :goodvibes

There's no "wine passport" associated with the festival.

There is a $20 "wine passport" offered year-round in France, Germany and Italy, includes tastes of two wines from each country (6 wines total and they have several to choose from).

Is it just me, or do the prices seem lower than last year?

ETA: Compared pictures of menus to last year...they're not less expensive, but it doesn't look like they took many price increases. So that's good...

The entire list is not posted anywhere. The weekly programs that are available at Epcot will have the chefs/writers for Authors without Borders and Book Signing participants and scheduled times. Not the best means of communication for advance planning.
I have Oct 1 - Oct 10 if you want any info for this time frame. I haven't looked at it closely but I assume the authors correlate with those that are giving demonstrations in the same time period.

I would love the info, I leave on Monday, so that would be perfect for me.. Thank you so much

OK, my friend called me because I told her to go check in the Festival Center today for the banner bags. There were several there but many had smudges, dirt, red marks, etc. on them since they were made from the actual banners hanging in Epcot last year. I would not feel good making her choose one of those for someone. She said there were Morocco, Germany (part of the coo-coo clock), France (Eiffel Tower and champagne glasses), lots of Japan (sushi), the lobster (LA or USA I think) and Big Ben (UK). They had a hang tag about the banners and were $39.95. The designs were upside down on some parts and had the words "Celebrating Culinary Adventures" from the banners last year on parts of them. I told her to try and find me a decent France one. Wish I was there b/c I would get a few but I felt bad making her search through all of them-she was trying to get to a seminar:( I really wanted to see them!

Here are some pictures of the banners from last year:

You need a ticket for the culinary/beverage deminars. Your registration number or print out is not enough. People were in line and the CM asked them to go over to the registers, at the left of the entrance ramp, to get their ticket. You can get any ticket you pre-purchased for that day only. Not a whole weeks worth.

The tote improvgal described. Not the best shot for total description but you get the idea.

Thanks for the LIVE photos and reporting redzinner:thumbsup2

The wine pour is larger ... about 3 fingers, well at least the Red Newt Circle Riesling I had was.

The Dessert Sandwich Keegan Gerhard prepared was delicious .... what a fun guy!

I would be forever greatful and indebted to someone who would get me a banner bag. We went on our honeymoon to Disney last year and the Food & Wine Festival was one of the highlights. I would love to have one of the bags as a (delayed) souvenir.

If you are willing and PM me, I could even Paypal you the money today.

You are the best redzinner!! :worship:

Hopefully the wine pour is the standard not the exception this year:goodvibes

Got a message that there were plenty of tote bags left as of 1 PM.
