2009 Discussion-We'll make time fly by!

Glad you'll be able to stay longer, Micka! I think 7 days is the minimum I would ever go, partly because of our long drive down, partly b/c I think it takes that amount of time to see the things we really want! Now if I lived a lot closer and could go multiple times per year... then it wouldn't matter as much. Of course, I'd love a 14 day trip, too, LOL!

Thanks, everyone! We have decided to switch to Pop. The extra days mean more time to relax and go at a slower pace :thumbsup2 !

Yippee!!! Whoever said "less is more" obviously has never been to WDW!

Can you update my info to show Mar 14 - Mar 21st on the Disney Magic?

Thanks.

Wow, thanks for posting the list! It looks great! I am really hoping for May...but if I am working for the school district next year....it will be June. But I am still planning on May and I will update any changes.:thumbsup2 There are a lot of disers already planning 09 trips! :wizard:

I think that I am going to nix the Disney talk at home for now since I think I am driving Dh nutty!!! I can't help it if my future Disney schedule is always on my mind! LOL To him it is just a place.... to me it is MAGIC!! Magic that I never got to experiece as a child and I can't wait for my kids to experience. I KNOW you guys understand me!

I have decided that we are going to stay at the ASMu in a family suite. I think that we might splurge for a better resort when the kids get older. But they will love the themes of the AS's. I know we will need the divide between us since both kids are light sleepers.

I am going batty, I just recieved a 40% code, but it may not be valid for the dates I have. So if I can swing it, we may go sooner than later.:cool1: Dh looked at me crazy when I asked him to get paint chips when he went to Home Depot...:rotfl: I told him the disney ones, not the plane ones and he just gave me that look:laughing: Anyhoo, better go call to find out the details of the code...

Yeah! A code!!! A DISers dream come true! :cool1: :woohoo: :yay:

You're mucho welcome!
Looks like we'll just miss each other (I arrive 5/31)!

Bummer. I still may go in June...it all depends on my work. I heard that June gets hot and crowded. Have you been to WDW in June before?

Girl, I feel your pain. My enjoys going on Disney trips he just doesn't like hearing about them before we go. He likes to be in the dark. Then once we are there he is happy. I even can convince him to wear a Disney shirt.

Those suites look really nice! And not a bad price, either. I like how there is two rooms but you are not completely cut off and that there are two TVs.:happytv:

Wow, I would love, love, love to get a pin code. I heard on another thread that us westcoaster don't usually get them because we live too far. That bites.

Check out these Crocs a diser posted on another thread. Way cute!

I LOVE those crocs!!!!! I have 2 pairs of MJ's that I love, but I have to have Disney one's!!

Also, DH just informed me if I can get a SUPER great deal on airfare, we might can go to WDW instead of Hilton Head for my birthday!! It will only be a thursday - sunday, but somethings better than nothing! So far it isn't looking good though, because I can only find air upwards of $250 per person....

Yes! DS and I usually go as soon as school's out and stay through the first week of June. Yes, it gets hot-ish. But not any hotter (or humid) than here. And certainly not as hot as July and August! As a matter of fact, last year there were several days when I refused to swim cause it was too flippin' cold! And, And, And, get this...one night while we were strolling around Downtown Disney, I had to duck in to World O' Diz and drop $70 on a jacket--I was freezing--in June!!!
The crowds start to thicken toward the end of May. But they're perfectly manageable. Especially when you're smarter than the teeming masses. :crowded: Which is where TGM comes in handy. And park hoppers!

I have the non-Disneyfied ones in brown and pink and LOVE them! Last trip I took those and my mega-dollar Privo's and only wore the Privo's once. I was hooked on those dang Crocs!

I need your support 2009 people! I just joined the smart for life diet and will be starting it in couple of weeks once I get my tests ran and see the doctor. I want to lose 70 pounds before we go to WDW. That will another countdown for me. It is going to be a hard battle though.

YOU CAN DO IT!! I am also in the SLOWW process of losing weight, but it is to help DH and I as we are TTC our first little one. Good luck!!

You can do it! I'm in the process as well--see my ticker! I am now 47 pounds lighter than I was at this time 2 years ago! I'm doing Weight Watchers online--started Jan. 5. I want to lose about 75 more pounds from where I am now, so I'm right there with you! (First goal--35 pounds by this June).

I know EXACTLY what you mean! Nix the talk - that's my strategy for now too. :rolleyes1 Talk here - with the people who understand you.
