thank you so much for this list - we used it extensively over the past 9 days at disney. one update for you - looks like all stars sports have all the same snack options as all stars music.

It was on all the menus I looked at. At the stores I would just ask what was inc. on the Dining Plan as a SC and they would either direct me to the shelf, area, etc with approved snacks on it or tell me anything under $4 (or $4.50 at Candy Cauldron DTD). It was pretty easy to confirm.

Hi,
I just returned from WDW this evening. I got the french toast loaf at Main Street Bakery yesterday and they would not let me use a snack credit for it. I had to pay OOP.

It was good however!

Just got back yesterday and at Goofys they wouldn't let me use snack credits on anything that said "family size" or "something" to share. There was a very small section of stuff that I was allowed to use them on, like little boxes of cookies and pretzels. I was told unless it was a single serving item it didn't count. HTH!

Well now that Disney is pretty much giving away free dining until the end of the year I'm afaid these items will not return in 2009. They may be slowly cutting back on items hoping we won't notice

Well, if this is the case, it is very wrong! Many of us are PAYING for the plan and our choices should not be limited because Disney is giving away free food.

For a snack credit you can no longer get the box of donuts for 2008. You can purchase them oop thought. Still a decent deal for about $4

We are leaving this weekend for our vacation and we are super excited. I hate to ask this if its already been discussed, but if we ask for a hard boiled egg for breakfast, would they consider this a snack? Just that I would hate to use a quick service credit for my breakfast, when this is all I really like to eat. Anyone know??

At Pop, you could get two hard-boiled eggs for a snack credit. They were kept in the cooler at the back of the food court area.

I saw a few families try (unsuccessfully) to get the boxes of Entenman's donuts for a snack credit, and each was told that this was no longer allowed as they are not single serving portions.

I did, however, notice that boxes of Nilla Wafers, Wheat Thins and Nutter Butter cookies were allowable as snack credits at Pop. You also had a choice between Dasani and Smart Water for bottled water, which we didn't see anywhere else since only Dasani was available at the parks.

I sure hope not! If that's the case, then maybe I should call and see if we can get our DP for free for our Dec trip...I just might do that anyway. Doesn't hurt to ask, right?

This being off the list was mentioned before Free Dining 2008...don't know when they took french toast loaf off the DDP snacks list (or was it ever on there? Isn't it over $4.00?) It was not available for snack credit in May 2008 when we had paid-for DDP.

Milkshake, Chocolate Cake, & Drinks (sodas, water, etc.). No longer has smoothies or floats. Now serves cheeseburgers, turkey sandwiches, and tuna. I have a picture of the menu I'll post when I upload that card

I just got back. I always buy the resealable chip n dale's snack co. spicy Mickey Mix... ya know the bags? theyre not that big, yet on the front of the bag it now says "family size"

I remember being able to get them as a snack option. and they removed the "family size" big boxes of chips and donuts out of the foodcourts and put them into the resort's store. (I stayed at All Star Movies)

It was there. I added to the confirmed list after seeing a picture of a receipt on someones TR. So at some point is was included.

I have seen a lot of posts where people said they did get the cookie ice cream sandwich. In fact, I was just telling DH last night since he loves ice cream sandwiches. This is beginning to make me very upset that they would start changing mid year like this. It should have nothing to do with free dining since many (like me) have to pay for dining. If they can't follow through and offer all the benefits of a promotion, they shouldn't offer it. And if they do want to limit items to those on free dining (which I still don't believe is right), don't penalize us that pay full price for it.

we tried to get the ice cream sandwhich at the all star movies foodcourt, not main street.. maybe its different on mainstreet? I doubt it.. I should have taken a pic of the poster in the foodcourt showing all the snacks included on the dining plan. The choices were so much better back in 06.

Just a note: I dont think they changed it just for free dining? I could be wrong but that would be silly and confusing to all the CMs to keep changing the rules, dont ya think? Im sure not everyone traveling in September was able to take advantage of the free dining package. That wouldnt be fair to those who had to pay for it.

You can at Dino Bites Snacks at AK. Here's a pix of the menu which clearly shows you can get the ice cream sandwich. But, as I found out on our last day when using up our last SC, different locations have different rules.
