You can at Dino Bites Snacks at AK. Here's a pix of the menu which clearly shows you can get the ice cream sandwich. But, as I found out on our last day when using up our last SC, different locations have different rules.

Gotcha! Yeah, that had to be it.. thanks =)

I am getting the impression here and on other thraeds that AllStars is pretty stingy with what you can get on DDP ! I wish everyone didn't want to stay ther and we were going to Pop!!

I agree. I always stay at pop but switched this time. I thought the same thing, snacks were limited. but i just assumed it was like that at every resort not just ASMovies, as the dining planned has changed. I missed Pop a lot =/

I will be back next time!

yes POP had amazing choices for snacks, i was impressed and ended up with the huge piece of tye-dye cheesecake which turned our mouths blue. very good too.

I am SO excited to get this! It's the first thing I plan to do after checking. Great parenting lmao. Cheesecake for lunch!!!

:rotfl2: Rosie you are such a good grandmother! But I thought you were staying at Pop? You will just have to use your snack credits in the park and bring some snacks back to the room to eat since ASM is so stingy!

Hey jjohnson, just wanted to let you know I walked through the grab and go at the Contemporary on my stay there last week, and took some pics (that are still on my friends computer) to let you know what was considered a snack credit. Most things weren't marked, but I asked the CMs working the tills, and they said that basically anything not considered an entree is a snack credit as long as it is under 4.00. She did say that everything will be clearly marked as a snack when they move from their temp location, and that there would be more options for snack credits at that time. When I get the pics from my friends computer, I'll attempt to post them on here for you. Hope this helps!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. We have nothing confirmed for the Contemporary and I had forgotten to take notes here on my April trip.

yeah thats right. I tried to redeem a snack credit for a Full Throttle energy drink in EPCOT and the CM said no, nothing over $4.00. I still cant believe they charged $5.00 for that drink o.O

That's bizarre. There were a couple of different energy drinks available as snack credits at Pop. You could also get the Vitamin Water for snack credits, as well.

I know this isn't quite on subject but I sure hope somebody is kind enough to start a 2009 Confirmed Snacks Included in the Dining Plan thread. This is fantastic!

Not to worry. I'll start a new one early 2009 when there is enough feedback.

Just an addition to the ice cream sandwich issue. At the All-Stars last week and ice cream sandwich was $4.99, thus not a snack (but could be a dessert for QS). At the parks, they were $3.99. Now, I didn't get one at a park so don't know if there is a size difference or anything, but I did notice the price difference.

yep.... you could get the ice cream sandwich or the brownie sundae as a dessert with your q.s., but not as a snack.. (the sundaes are HUGE)

My mom and I would split a regular sundae for a snack credit. (alright sometimes we'd do this after we got back from the parks 10pm):rolleyes1
but hey, its vacation!

Someone started a thread saying the cinnamon roll and french toast loaf would no longer be a snack credit on the DDP...can anyone confirm this?? (They said a CM said they'd no longer be snack credits as of a few days ago)
